Waited for a long time @ the jetty. We didn't leave the jetty until 1+ pm. The sea was quite choppy, making the boat ride feel like a see-saw. The Kelong was spartan. Looks like a dormitory to me. The toilets are expected. 1 hole in the wood that leads directly to the sea. There was KTV, Mahjong & Carrom. Felt that we were charged RM50 per person unfairly as we were evaluating the place. There was a group of people there and they were from Prudential. Left @ 3 pm to go island hopping. Thought it would be to places where we can buy stuff and see people. But we landed on Pulau Sibu Besar. It looks like a deserted island. A Twin Beach Resort was there. But it seems that the place has been abandoned. It looked like a scene from some horror movie where a group of curious explorers stumbled upon an abandoned place. The rest of the people came prepared for the beach and the sea. The 4 of us could only sit around, play w carbs and drink coconut water. We finally left the place @ 5+ pm. The boat dropped the Prudential ppl off @ the kelong and it took us back to Tanjung Leman. The sea was more choppy this time. But we made it back in one piece. Decided to drive back to JB by the Main Road. Some Johor car opened door and pointed middle finger @ us after I cut partially into his lane. Put petrol @ BH Petrol near Tanjung Leman. The road back to JB was totally dark & Smokey. Had to slow down considerably. From Tanjung Leman, the next petrol station was @ Kota Tinggi. We stopped over @ Johor Jaya for dinner before going straight back to Singapore. It was good that there wasn't any jam @ the Causeway.
