It was 8+ when we realised that Grandma was still sleeping. We saw her move. When we talked to her, she was incoherent and her mouth was twitching in a strange way. Mummy said she was having a slight fever. It took me a while to feel it. Tania looked visibly distraught on seeing Granny like this. Of all times, Granny must fall ill when Tania is going on leave. Anyway, we passed Tania her work permit and told her to enjoy herself while we did what we could for Granny. I fed Oats to Granny. But it was not good. She kept puking everything out. Mei helped to wipe her mouth. Ling went to pack up the room and Mummy did the rest. Mummy gave Uncle Teik Huat (Granny's doctor as well) a call and he told us to check for Granny's sugar level. I might be too low. When Mummy went to test, it was a whopping 249! A normal person is around 100+. We decided to bring her to see Uncle Teik Huat. Mei was supposed to go Brighton to work @ the Awfully Chocolate outlet as well. Was worried that Mei would be late for work but she starts work @ 10 am. Granny puked in the car before we even started out journey, prompting frantic efforts from Ling & Mei to clean up. She puked again along Bradell Road. Even with the plastic bag, some of it still spilled to the car. With the car moving, it's even much harder to for Ling & Mei to clean up. Noticed that Granny's body kept leaning to the left. Dropped Mei @ Brighton before continuing on to Bedok. Saw some ERP gantry for cars coming out of the Kallang Paya Lebar Expressway to Airport Road. Snapped a pic or 2 but my mind was still on Granny. Wanted to drop Granny @ the car park behind Uncle Teik Huat's clininc, but there was a huge jam just to get into it. I swung the car back and stopped right in front of the clinic. Unloaded Granny. Mummy & Ling took over and I parked the car. Thankfully, there wasn't much crowd and we got to see him quite soon. Ling looked after the stuff outside. Granny didn't recognise Uncle Teik Huat. But she could recognise after we prompted her. Uncle Teik Huat gave Granny an injection. Didn't dare to look. But I took a pic of the consultation anyway. She was given antibiotics. I don't really feel confident about the diagnosis. It was a 'can be this, can also be that'. It's unlike the time when we sent Granny to Mount Alvernia. The specialist could find out the location of the infection just by tapping on Granny's body. In the end, Uncle Teik Huat gave Granny some anti-biotics.
