We did jigsaw puzzles
Visiting Wilson
Visited Wilson & his family today. Javier looks fat now. His crying has been replaced by quietness. Mavis is very active. Wilson said that she's seldom so active in front of strangers. Drank some of Wilson's Corden Bleu. We then did some of the jigsaw puzzles lying around before going back.

Saw another Ferrari @ the Shell Station beside 2nd link
Going home
Missed the Sungei Besi turning and was channeled to Taman Tun Razak instead. Did a u-turn. Luckily, I could find the highway fairly easily. None of them drank or smoked in the car coz we didn't want Meiling to get into a car w a smoke smell. It was a relatively quiet trip as Alex & Val slept most of the way. Yeo kept awake to keep me awake. Stopped for a while @ Ayer Keroh. It's the biggest pit stop between Singapore & KL. There's KFC and lot of other shops. My friends bought some 土产 and we had some tea. We continued on the journey after putting petrol @ Caltex. Decided to use the 2nd link as it was late already. Was overtaken by 2 speeding Ferraris near the Immigration Checkpoint. We later ended up @ the same Shell Petrol Station. It's the last petrol station before Singapore. Took some pics of the 2 Ferraris. Yeo said that the driver looked familiar. There was a jam along the 2nd link. I think it would be 3 times as worse in JB. By the time we crossed into Singapore, it was 7+ already. Stopped for a drink @ Bojangles before we parted. Val took a cab from there while I sent Yeo & Alex home. Went straight to Tanglin Halt to meet Ling. I was really glad to see her after all the happenings in the week. Her Mum cooked a packet of Maggi Mee for me. Went home to sleep shortly after as I was quite tired after a long drive.
Jalan Loke Yew 燒肉
Found Yeo sleeping outside again when I woke up @ 4+. He said my snoring wasn't so loud last night but the sofa was still comfortable. By the time I woke up again @ 9+, Alex was cooking Maggi Mee for me. Val went KLCC on her own to do some shopping. There was still a bit of beer left, so I took one Asahi while Alex & Yeo took the rest. We played Chor Dai Ti. Kena caught on 50+ points for 2 occasions. Overall I still lost but somehow when Yeo counted the scores, he couldn't tally. So he said 'Fuck it!'. Chris met us @ the lobby when we checked out. She brought us to Jalan Loke Yew for 燒肉. Of course there was 雲吞麺 & otak for me. My friends said that it was the best 燒肉 they ever tasted. The lunch cost RM121.80. Expensive for Malaysian standards. But quite cheap for Singapore standard.

Stand up steamboat
I got my SS2 Maggi Goreng Fix
Taman Desa
Chris brought us to Taman Desa for Lok Lok and dinner. It's a stall along the road. I liked the Lok Lok even though I only ate the sausage. We then went to some open air hawker centre for food. At least now, there'a another food place that I like besides SS2. There's Carrot Cake here. But it's fried w Bean Sprouts using the same style as Fried Kway Teow. Not very good by edible. The Fried Oyster was damn good too. They ordered their seafood. I drank my tea. But I'm glad Chris brought them to eat seafood coz I wouldn't be able to do that. We went back to the hotel after that and played more mahjong. This time, I won RM85 and we ended @ 2 am. For the first time in this trip, I slept alcohol-free.
A new way of playing
Left 表叔's place @ 5 pm to avoid the jam back to KL. Took a detour to SS2 for my Maggi Goreng. It was only 5 pm and luckily one of the stalls are opened. Also stopped by @ 味食街 for Fried Kway Teow. I got my Maggi Goreng and Fried Kway Teow fix. The drive back to Jalan Ampang was filled w jams. Left SS2 @ 5:50 pm and only managed to reach Jalan Ampang @ 7 pm. Alex called me halfway to get drinks from the supermarket opposite The Ampwalk. The drinks there are much cheaper. Got 4 cans of Asahi for Yeo. Chris came to our hotel and played mahjong. It was a good time to have a break from Mahjong. I just lay down on the sofa and rested. Alex was getting his ass kicked today and I helped to play. I tried to play mahjong more seriously by looking @ the cards that my next player has been throwing. If I don't have a good set, I'll just throw all the cards that people don't want. It seemed to work. Even managed a 5-Double game to reduce Alex's loses. But he still ended up losing RM95.
Visiting 表叔
Treated my friends to lunch @ a Japanese Restaurant called 小城 coz of last night's mahjong. Decided not to take any alcohol today. Had a Garlic Rice w Cha Soba set. Walked back to the hotel. My friends all slept while I drove down to Bandar Utama to see 姨婆. Wanted to avoid the toll @ Eastin Hotel. Then I realised that I should have exited @ the Mont Kiara exit to avoid the toll. 姨婆 wasn't in coz she's staying @ Uncle Teck Fah's place for today. She'll be attending Mui Ee's graduation tomorrow. But I still managed to see 表叔 & 表叔娒, together w Kai Lin and Mei Yan. Mei Yan is on 3 weeks' leave. 表叔 congratulated me on going to be a Dad. Kai Lin is starting to recognise people. So she didn't allow me to carry her.
Massage
Yeo slept outside @ 6+ am moments after I fell asleep. It was my snoring again. By the time I woke up again, it was 10+. Had a slight hangover and puked in the toilet. Alex's Maggi Assam made it better. Went to 'The Ampwalk' for massage. This time, I had Aromatherapy. Previously, I thought Aromatherapy involves smelling some nice smell. But no, I found out for the first time today that it's just another form of massage. A plump & jovial Thai Lady tended to me. The massage was good. They masseuses even had some fun w us. They made Yeo & me shake hands and my masseuse used my leg to tickle her friend. Felt good after the massage. Yeo felt pain coz of yesterday's sports massage.

In Malaysia, the diplomatic cars are red plated
Dinner & wine @ Hartamas
Went downstairs to wait for a cab. Didn't want to drive coz I'll be drinking. The first cab quoted us RM10. Next! Subsequently, one of the blue executive cabs turned into the driveway. An Ang Moh girl alighted and we got onto the cab. The driver could speak English and he was willing to go by meter. Our cab fare came to be RM10+. But we didn't mind coz the condition of the cab was good. Yeo & Alex went to look for toilet. When they came back, they told me that the nearest toilet had a RM2 entry fee. So they went upstairs to another toilet. Chris's Brown Wira (WNW4428) came by later. We went towards Hartamas shopping centre. I thought that she made a wrong turning when she went down Southwards along Jalan Tun Razak. But I learnt a new route today. She went by the SMART Tunnel that took us all the way to the North-South Highway/Federal Highway junction. We then went onto the Federal Highway before going onto the Kerinchi Link. Managed to reach Hartamas within half an hour. I learnt a new way today. Decided to have dinner @ a restaurant selling Penang food. Called Terence. Found out that he happened to stay right above Hartamas Shopping Centre. So I asked him to come down and joined us. I didn't quite like the food though. It was too 'rich' to be Penang Standard. Val paid for it, beating Chris to the bill. We went 'The Wine House' later. It's just across the corridor from our dinner place. Kelly's friend Rachel owns it and Alex knows her. We had a bottle of white wine and red wine. I wanted to pay for it. But somehow, the staff didn't know what to do with the 'secret code' prompt. So Chris ended up paying for it. It wasn't cheap @ all. RM300+ for 2 bottles of wine is way too expensive. I felt that Rachel should have at least talked to us more or gave us a discount. After all, we came all the way from Singapore. Terence offered to send us back. But Chris said she'll send us back coz she stays @ Taman Desa, which is nearer to our hotel. We went to the supermarket to get drinks for the night. Yeo & Alex bought a bottle of Vodka for me.
The stove
Woke up to see Yeo sleeping outside coz he couldn't stand my snoring last night. Decided to go for massage w them. But when I reached there, the lady in charge told me that there were no more masseuses around. So I went back to the hotel and wrote some diary. Asked the cleaning lady to teach me how to operate the stove. We spent the whole night last night trying to figure out. In the end, the switch was just inside the cupboard below the stove. Joined them for lunch @ Secret Recipe. Went back to the hotel for more mahjong. Lost my winnings from last night back. We stopped Mahjong @ 5:30 pm coz we would be meeting Chris (Val's friend) @ KLCC.

Our breakfast was damn expensive
Bak Kut Teh for breakfast
Alex woke us up @ 7:30 am. Surprisingly, Yeo said that I didn't snore that much. They wanted to eat Bak Kut Teh. The only breakfast place I know is Jalan Alor. We went there. Twice, Alex saw the words Bak Kut Teh @ a coffee shop, but they were all closed. In the end, one of the coffee shop guys told us that there's Bak Kut Teh @ Jalan Imbi. We went there. Yeo asked a tailor where's the Bak Kut Teh. It's just behind the building. Yeo remarked that the KL people are more friendlier than Singaporeans. They didn't like the KL-style of Bak Kut Teh. The style where herbs are put in. I had my Yang Zhou Fried Rice. We spotted a 7-Eleven nearby and decided to top up supplies. I mean our alcoholic supplies for the trip up to Genting. Of course the drinks are for the 3 of them. We also bought Maggi Noodles. The cleaner was already there when we got back to the hotel. She did quite a good job as she washed the plates and mopped the floor. Alex wanted to give her an RM5 tip, but she didn't want to take. It was a time to laze around so we watched whatever that was on TV. Ugly Betty was being shown on Star Channel. I tried using the Starhub Mobile modem to get onto the internet. But all I got was a message saying that the device was not connected. So I'm not sure if it's not connected to a 3G network or the USB has gone bonkers.

I finished most of the Satay
Saw this bug on our table @ Chomp Chomp
Shared this Carrot Cake w Mummy
Underground ERP spotted along Airport Road
European Grand Prix
Watched the last 15 laps of the European Grand Prix. Kimi Raikonen just made a huge Boo Boo. He moved off his car when the mechanics are still filling up his car and fractured the poor guy's leg. Maybe it's retribution. Raikonen's car's engine just blew up 2 laps later and he retired. For the record, Felipe Massa won it.
Chomp Chomp
Had dinner @ Chomp Chomp coz we'll be picking Mei up from Brighton. Managed to find a private estate to park the Kelisa. Tried unsuccessfully to get a table near the entrance. So we had to settle for some stuffy and oily seat right in the middle of the hawker centre. Ling was craving for Ketupat. So I ordered. But we had to order 10 sticks of Satay w it. Also ordered Oyster Egg. But @ $5 it was clearly not worth it. Also, it sucked. Got a Fried Kway Teow. @ $3, it is a bargain. In Chomp Chomp's terms. My finger got cut by a wooden splinter while removing the plastic from the wooden chopsticks. Hate those idiotic chopsticks. One of the zi cha stall was playing 'Slow Motion' from Joey Boy. It's a Thai song. Nowadays, every Tom, Dick & Harry is listening to Thai songs. I even saw 2 CDs being launched on TV. They contained all the popular Thai Songs. Left Chomp Chomp for NTUC so that we could enjoy the air-con and Ling could buy Tiger Beer for me. Told Ling to wait there so that I could pick her up. We also checked out Serangoon Gardens Market. It's a slightly cheaper hawker centre than Chomp Chomp. There's a guy busking w his guitar. I prefer this place much more to Chomp Chomp. Picked Mei up from Brighton. By then, Ling was sleeping in the car already.
I earned a beer
By the time I woke up, it was already 4pm. Played the golf game on the PSP w Ling after waking up. I'm beginning to get the hang of the game. But it's still quite a bitch to putt. Ling slept almost the whole afternoon off. Helped Ling to vet through her minutes of meeting. She promised to get me a beer in return for my efforts.
Lunch @ home
Mummy & I took turns to feed Granny porridge @ home. She was too weak to feed herself. The porridge was the easy part. After that we had to give her pills. I counted more than 5 pills. We had to give one by one. I'm surprised that she could take the pills given her condition. Finally, she finished her last pill and I could set my mind @ ease and eat my carrot cake in peace. Shared a $4 Carrot Cake w Mummy. We brought Granny to the bed after lunch so that she could sleep. Stayed downstairs to watch over her. Mummy went to take a nap. Ling wanted to be with me. So I moved Granny's beach chair to the space between Granny's room and the dining table. Ling slept on it. I look after 2 persons @ the same time. I think the beach chair wasn't that comfortable coz Ling went upstairs soon after. Mummy came down @ 2:30 pm and it was my turn to sleep.
Buying lunch
Parked the car @ Bukit Timah Avenue so that Mummy could buy Porridge from Bukit Timah Market for Granny and I could get Pizza for Ling and the Laksa from Bukit Timah Plaza. But the Laksa stall was closed and on it's stall, a notice said that it's closed for renovation and business will resume on 26 Aug. Called Mummy to buy Carrot Cake for me. Waited quite a while for Ling's Shroom Garden. I think Pizza Hut is under-staffed today. Only saw 1 manager and 2 waiteresses from China (Jing Jing & Bao Bao). I was given a free coke coz I waited quite a while. Also noticed that the bill didn't have service charge.
Granny sick
It was 8+ when we realised that Grandma was still sleeping. We saw her move. When we talked to her, she was incoherent and her mouth was twitching in a strange way. Mummy said she was having a slight fever. It took me a while to feel it. Tania looked visibly distraught on seeing Granny like this. Of all times, Granny must fall ill when Tania is going on leave. Anyway, we passed Tania her work permit and told her to enjoy herself while we did what we could for Granny. I fed Oats to Granny. But it was not good. She kept puking everything out. Mei helped to wipe her mouth. Ling went to pack up the room and Mummy did the rest. Mummy gave Uncle Teik Huat (Granny's doctor as well) a call and he told us to check for Granny's sugar level. I might be too low. When Mummy went to test, it was a whopping 249! A normal person is around 100+. We decided to bring her to see Uncle Teik Huat. Mei was supposed to go Brighton to work @ the Awfully Chocolate outlet as well. Was worried that Mei would be late for work but she starts work @ 10 am. Granny puked in the car before we even started out journey, prompting frantic efforts from Ling & Mei to clean up. She puked again along Bradell Road. Even with the plastic bag, some of it still spilled to the car. With the car moving, it's even much harder to for Ling & Mei to clean up. Noticed that Granny's body kept leaning to the left. Dropped Mei @ Brighton before continuing on to Bedok. Saw some ERP gantry for cars coming out of the Kallang Paya Lebar Expressway to Airport Road. Snapped a pic or 2 but my mind was still on Granny. Wanted to drop Granny @ the car park behind Uncle Teik Huat's clininc, but there was a huge jam just to get into it. I swung the car back and stopped right in front of the clinic. Unloaded Granny. Mummy & Ling took over and I parked the car. Thankfully, there wasn't much crowd and we got to see him quite soon. Ling looked after the stuff outside. Granny didn't recognise Uncle Teik Huat. But she could recognise after we prompted her. Uncle Teik Huat gave Granny an injection. Didn't dare to look. But I took a pic of the consultation anyway. She was given antibiotics. I don't really feel confident about the diagnosis. It was a 'can be this, can also be that'. It's unlike the time when we sent Granny to Mount Alvernia. The specialist could find out the location of the infection just by tapping on Granny's body. In the end, Uncle Teik Huat gave Granny some anti-biotics.
Ear digging
Ling dug my ears today. But I think there was more effort from me coz I normally don't like to be poked @. But for today, I tried my best to keep still so Ling managed to dig out a piece of ear wax. I tried helping Ling to dig. But couldn't dig much coz I didn't dare to go too deep. Had Chicken Abalone Instant noodles when it was done.
Tania on leave
Woke up @ 7:20 am. 40 minutes before my alarm was set to ring. Tania would be going on leave today. Was thinking whether we should ask Tania to wear diapers for Granny before going off. But I think Mummy would have thought of that already.
Groggy
Ling woke up in the middle of the night and told me that Mummy is still up. Still groggy. Not sure whether it's late night or early morning. Went back to sleep.

We started w 2 Tigers
Pulau Sudong
Edwin, Kiat & me were supposed to meet for drinks @ night. Kiat wasn't feeling well today. Edwin & I met up anyway. Picked Edwin up from home. We were supposed to drink @ the park opposite Edwin's place, but we decided that my home would always be a better place. Edwin brought along 2 copies of the Ish Magazine Issue featuring Kiat's article on Istanbul. We passed a copy to Kiat when we reached my home. I borrowed the other copy to read. He wasn't well enough to drink w us. Edwin & I settled into our de facto drinking place. The patio outside my home. He brought the 'Limit' Vodka along. I took out the mixer from the fridge. For tonight, I didn't drink too much. Talked to Edwin about lots of stuff. Someone, the conversation led to Pulau Sudong. It wasn't a conversation about National Defence. But rather, it was a conversation on who to maroon there. We began building up a nonsensical list of people to send. First and foremost, we'll not send any family or friends there. Top of my list would be bawling kids and Uncles/Aunties who hog the road. Edwin wants to send his ex-colleague and his ex-girlfriend. I then extended the list to people to don't drink. We heard some irritating guy blow his exhaust and we decided to send people who ram their engines to Pulau Sudong as well. At this rate, probably the only people NOT on Pulau Sudong would be the both of us. In that case, it might be better for us to go Pulau Sudong ourselves. We went Adam Road for supper. Stopped by @ the Esso near Eng Neo Avenue so that Edwin could draw money and throw the plastic cover of the Vodka. My Mee Goreng @ Adam Road took forever to come. The stall holder's excuse was that there were too many customers, I think they've simply forgotten about it coz Edwin's Kway Teow Goreng came, Edwin finished it and Edwin went to remind them about my Mee Goreng. That wasn't just a 5-minute wait. Set my alarm for 8 am before I slept coz Tania would be going out tomorrow and we'll be looking after Granny ourselves for the whole day.
Wipers
We drank 5 bottles in all and Alex treated. In turn, I told Alex that I'll pay the $5 parking coz he has paid a lot already. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't have even paid for it! I can feed myself for a day w $5. Sent Alex home before going down to Tanglin Halt for dinner. In some ways, Alex is similar to Ling as he will also turn on the wipers for me automatically. But he'll always turn it off coz he knows I don't like wipers that much, unlike Ling. Ling will turn on the wipers if there's a 1 square mm of water on the windscreen. Went down to Tanglin Halt coz Ling's Mum cooked. She'll be cooking Egg w Onions specially for me.
Smart girls
老板娘 sat down and chatted w us. She told us about the Thai girls working in Golden Mile. A lot of them have husbands back in Thailand and siphoned a lot of money from those gullible Singaporean Uncles. One of them had a Thai boyfriend on top of an Ang Moh husband in Singapore. The typical modus operandi is to hanky panky after the husband leaves for work and return home before the husband returns. I must agree that a lot of them look innocent, the Thai girls, Vietnam girls & China girls. But they are all very smart and resourceful. In fact, the real gullible ones are the Singaporean girls. A lot of them know nothing besides where to get the latest bargains. For those idiotic Uncles, I've got no sympathy for them coz nobody forced them to part with their hard-earned savings.
Drinks @ 老板娘's place
We went to 老板娘's place for drinks. It was empty as usual. Started off w 2 bottles of Tiger. Ling wanted Ice Lemon Tea. But 老板娘 did not have Ice Lemon though she lots of other choices. Alex went to the supermarket beside and got it for her. If you are in Golden Mile during the day, the toilet costs 10c. But it only applies to the ground floor and 2nd floor toilets. The 3rd floor toilets are free. I dutifully took the escalator up for all my toilet visits. Later on, 老板娘 said that all her customers could use the 2nd floor toilets for free coz the attendant sometimes took drinks from her. For the next few visits, I just confidently showed walked past the toilet attendent with a 'knowing' look. It worked.
Winning a bet
Picked Alex up from Battery Road before dropping Mummy's 2 cheques off @ the DBS Royale Brothers Building. Alex wanted me to go by the Esplanade way but I told him there's ERP there. He didn't believe me. So I offered to have a bet on 2 bottles. Of course I won. He was convinced after he saw the Beach Road gantry when we exited ECP to go Golden Mile. Alex had asked me to park in the Golden Mile. He said he'll pay for the car park and he even had a Cash Card in his wallet. So I parked. First stop was to the remittance centre. Ling found a seat immediately and sat down. I found a map of Thailand and looked @ it. Passed Alex a $2 so that he could give exact change.
Clearing some backlog
Ling was sleeping and we couldn't go anywhere until after 3 pm. So I installed the E71 driver on my desktop. Thought it would be a straightforward case. But no, it cocked up my Chipset Drivers so badly that I had to reinstall them. Luckily the E71 drivers worked after I fixed my Chipset Drivers. Finally did something that I've been putting off for more than a month. Now I can sync my Notes between my Desktop and my E71. Also installed Microsoft Visio so that I could open up the Ezhouse Affiliates Database diagram and get some work done. This was quite straightforward. Expanded my Affiliates DB Diagram. After doing so I realised that don't need an Affiliates Join table at all. I can just add columns to the Transaction table. Should have done such a diagram from the start. Noticed that the telemoney UAT site is down, so I couldn't test it. Anyway, by the time, it was almost 3 pm. Time to call it a day.
Lunch + phone
Interuppted my 惡作劇2 to have lunch. We had porridge & 油条 from morning. I told Tania to fry Egg w Onions. Ling asked her to fry 'Burgadale' as well. (Not sure what's the spelling) There was still a small bowl of porridge left, so I didn't want to finish all the Burgadale and Eggs. My handphone rang. But I not prepared to let my E71 interrupt me when I'm eating. Finally, the house phone rang. Thought it was Mummy, but it was Alex asking if I want to go Golden Mile for drinks coz he's going there to remit money. Went to do a long bathe after lunch coz it made me perspire again.
惡作劇2
Watched 惡作劇2. In this episode, Xiāng Qín goes to nursing school and she didn't want to let her school mates know that she's already married to Zhí Shù. So her schoolmates and her ended up staking out her own home hilariously for a glimpse of Zhí Shù. I think we both like the show coz we could identify w the protoganists. They are more exaggerated versions of ourselves but the substance is there. I remember Zhí Shù waiting outside a shop while Xiāng Qín shopped alone inside fantasing that one day Zhí Shù will shop w her. That's so Ling & me.
A new way to bathe
Went off for another long bath as I have just found a solution to the perspiring-after-bath syndrome. Just spam soap, water and press down on your skin while soaping. Our skin acts like a sponge, so when you press it, more oil is released from the pores. For my nose alone, I soaped it 3 times. After such a bath, there's absolutely no perspiration and you can enjoy for at least the next 2 hours.
Craving
Ling had a craving for Tanglin Halt's 齋米粉 & Laksa. The Kelisa is still immobolised. It was already 9:30 am and Mummy had to reach St Nicholas by 10:30 am. So we can only 打包. Mummy called Ling on the way there and 'ordered' Pork Chop. I queued up for the 齋米粉 and Ling bought Laksa + Pork Chop. Bought a 齋米粉 kosong for myself while Ling wanted the 齋鹅 as well. Mine was only $1.30 while Ling's was $2.50. The Zai Er is $1.20? Didn't see Ling & her Mum behind me when I went back to the Honda. So I drove off to the market in search for them. Only for my handphone to ring and with Ling @ the other end of the line asking me to turn back. Fetched her Mum to Sheng Shiong so that she could get a banana before I made a detour and dropped her @ her fruit stall. Reached home @ 10:10 am. 10 minutes late, but Mummy should be able to make it.

More chatting
We decided to go Suhyi's house for a chat. I've always felt that Suhyi's estate (Teban Gardens) is one of the cooler places in Singapore. Hua Guan is very warm and I can't seem to put a finger on the reason. Maybe it's because Suhyi's block is located near the edge of the estate and there's nothing but grass and trees opposite her block. Ling checked out her PSP. Soon I took over coz Ling didn't like those 'Dance Revolution' kind of games. I could only complete those songs w 4 bars and below. For those songs that were more difficult, I was simply hammering @ the buttons randomly. Fang Wei & Suhyi's second sister (only know her name ends w Ting) came back and gushed about the fireworks @ the Esplanade. Both of them are working @ the Singapore Flyer now. Told them about the IT Night function last month. They old me that there had been many GE events on the flyer. So IT is not the only one with an event there. We left Suhyi's house after 12. Ling said that it's 奇积 that Suhyi could stay awake until after 12. I could say the same for Ling as well. Helped them to throw the Bailey's bottle. The Bailey's appeared coagulated. It's so toxic that I wouldn't feed it to anyone. Even those I hate. No one has touched the bottle since my previous trip to Suhyi's home and I've forgotten when was that.
Meeting Suhyi
Something rare happened, Ling actually made arrangements to meet a friend. This doesn't happen too often but we drove down to Jurong East Entertainment to meet Suhyi. We were early, so we went to Delifrance where Ling had her Chicken Croissant. We saw from other customers that the Mushroom Soup looked creamy enough, so we went for the meal. The place was crowded and we could only get a table for 2. Grabbed a chair from the tables outside the outlet itself. I wonder who will pay Delifrance's prices and sit @ those non-Airconditioned tables. Began taking pictures of Ling coz I had nothing to do. Suhyi was late.
Car puzzle
Didn't expect Mummy to be back so early, so I parked right outside our gate. But unexpectedly, she came back early. The family opposite had a party on and all the spaces on the opposite side of the road were taken up. So the Honda was parked right outside Dr Khong's house. I had the honour of moving the Honda into the house. Feels like those sliding puzzles from the 80s/90s. Move Honda out. Move Kelisa out. Move Honda in. Move Kelisa back.
Heavy traffic
There was heavy traffic on the way home. It's the offspring of a marriage between the Friday evening and the slight drizzle. Snapped some pics of a Nissan Skyline who was right in front of me along Grange Road. Traffic began to clear after the Tanglin Road/Napier Road bottle neck. The next mini-bottle neck is usually Holland Village. After that, it should be a quick drive home.
My first time @ Cafe Iguana
Simply ordered a mug of Iguana Lager. Didn't even bother to ask about the price. My beer came with crackers and some spicy red-coloured sauce. The songs they play are very Mexican. But the Tequila Song was still the one that left the deepest impression. An Ang Moh couple was to my left and another Ang Moh guy was to my right. I think the staff here have to be chirpy. But they were chirpy with the Ang Mohs. I didn't bother to get chirpy with them coz I wasn't that keen to be chirpy w guys. So I just blogged on my E71 and kept minimal eye contact with the people around me. Noticed that I was drinking from a Brewerkz mug. They were using the Brewerkz menu for the alcoholic drinks. It doesn't take a Sherlock Holmes to realise that Brewerkz & Cafe Iguana come from the same management. The place got increasingly crowded as time passed. 2 Chinese-Looking office ladies speaking Bahasa sat on my right. 6:54 pm. Time for me to leave as well. My mug cost $11.20. I could get a jug of San Miguel @ Cascaden Patio for less than that. But that's another story.
Collecting photos
Took a walk to Golden Shoe for my printouts from Fotohub. As usual, I received an SMS from their system telling me that my printouts are ready. But that was exactly the same SMS that I received 6 times yesterday. And they weren't ready then. However, I received an email alert and to be fair to them, there was only 1 SMS from them today. So off to Fotohub I went. The staff there recognised me immediately and assured me that this time, my photos are REALLY ready. The photos are decent. At least I can bring 姨婆's photo to KL next week. Proceeded to eat the Golden Shoe Nasi Lemak since there was no queue (it's 2 pm) and a set w 4 dishes is only $2.
Nearly killed my own holiday
Gmail treated Marimari.com's confirmation email as spam and I accidentally deleted the mail coz I usually empty my spam folder. By the time my eye caught the words 'Pulai Springs' in the subject line, my right hand had already clicked on the 'Delete Forever' button. Junbin's bachelor party nearly couldn't materialise. Called KL immediately and luckily, they were able to resend the confirmation email. So everything turned out fine @ the end.

A rare pic of an Electrical box being opened
Dinner @ Junbin's house
Kiat & Yaren came over and we went Giant to buy drinks. Junbin invited us over for dinner tonight. We bought $119.47 worth of drinks. When we walked back to the car, we didn't look like going to a party. Slumped shoulders. Dour faces. Kiat said maybe it's because of the weather. Junbin & Wei Wei cooked Tom Yam Soup for us. They are finally starting to prepare for the wedding by going to JB for some bridal shop recce. Volunteered to do the washing and I really did a good job on it. But of course it took a long time. We then went to play Junbin's xBox 360. First was the Guitar game. It's a bit like Dance Revolution. We then played Conan. Junbin said that it's just a game where you 走来走去打人. Mei asked if I could fetch her from Vivo. But it's impractical for her to wait until 12+ for me. So she went home herself. Mummy is still @ mahjong when I reached home. I called the both of them to check on them.

Fotohub error
Had lunch & beer w Alex @ Aglio Olio. At first he suggested Hans. But if I'm going to pay Han's over-inflated prices, I may as well go to Aglio Olio. Sent photos to the new fotohub for printing. I like their photo uploading function. But there was a bug @ the SMS server and it kept sending messages to my handphone.

Kiat's birthday
It's Kiat's birthday today. Met him, Yaren & Qi An @ Bojangles. Kiat was quite irritated by a group of guys who kept spitting on the floor. But they left soon after. We talked a lot about our army days. Kiat talked about his tank cleaning experiences while Qi An talked about being an RP Sergeant. The toilet @ Bojangles is quite scary though. There were clicking sounds in the toilet and a Tua Pek Kong altar greets you as you exit the toilet. We then went down to Cuscaden Patio @ Cuscaden Road. It's a bar right @ the entrance of Ming Arcade, a dodgy shopping mall. The tables were set right @ the corridors of the mall. Qi An said that it's the place w the cheapest beer @ $10 a jug on Tuesday. One taste and I could tell that it was mixed with water. Qi An's cousin Qi Rong was there as well and he was quite drunk. Qi An seems to know everyone there. The crowd is quite Malay/Skater/Biker/Young. I would give it a 5/10 for my experience there. Left the place @ 1 am.
Fish Zinger
Finished the last of the curry from the family gathering. Ling was craving for Zinger Burger, so we drove down to Bukit Merah. It's the one of the few KFCs where I can stop the car near it. Noticed that there's Fish Zinger now. But I don't have enough 'disk space' in my stomach for it.
Sun vs Wind
Stopped @ Princes of Wales 7-Eleven and got Mentos for Ling. The cashier was quite sociable as he helped me to look for the Mentos. The skies look grey today but there was no rain. Hopefully, we can keep this weather. No rain. No sun. The sun is good for drying clothes. But I think the wind is capable of doing the same thing minus the heat.

Samosa
Lots of delicious leftover food
Olympic spirit
Mummy passed me some Neo Garden vouchers and asked if any of my colleagues want to have it. Seriously, I don't see anyone in my circle hosting parties except for myself. Turned on the TV to watch the Table Tennis preliminaries. Those kind where the world number 200+ is pitted against another world number 200+. Could see that the standard is much lower. The commentator said rightly that it's more than a competition. It's a gathering for players who love the sport. It's from the preliminaries that we can see that the sport is not loved only by the Chinese. I watched an Egyptian lady (comes w Tudung and full gear) slug it out with a Taiwanese. Also saw a Columbian who lost to a China-born Canadian teenager. The last match I saw pitted a Chinese Auntie - she's 35 and married to an Australian - against an 18 year old Indian teenager. She's probably young enough to be her daughter. The Chinese Auntie prevailed. It's certainly as enjoyable to watch the preliminaries as well as a Zhang Yining vs Kim Kyung Ah blockbuster.
Food sharing
Xinhui, Stephen & me shared the food from last night's family gathering. I think we could have finished more food. Office is a good place to finish food. Surprisingly, the Fried Rice and Samosa still tasted nice. I didn't take the Chicken coz of the bones but from the feedback, it wasn't too shabby as well.

Table Tennis Final
Watched the Table Tennis final. After Féng Tiānwēi lost, I knew that the tie was over.
An outing in the afternoon
Ling put Chicken and Vegetables in the Cream of Mushroom Soup. I didn't like it at all. But thankfully, I had Claypot Laksa in the afternoon. Junbin & Wei Wei came over for Bak Kut Teh. Together w Kiat & Yaren, the 4 of them dropped by and chatted w Granny before we went down to Alexandra Village for Claypot Laksa. Kiat said that it was heaven while Yaren said that it was a little spicy. Last time, Kiat, Junbin & I would hang out together. Ling said that the group has expanded to include the spouses. So now, there are 6 of us going out. Went Queensway Shopping Centre for some shopping. Kiat wanted to get track shoes. In the end, it was Junbin & me who got stuff. Junbin bought a jersey and I bought a mini-football. Andy Yang was working @ Queensway and he gave me a discount price for the football. He gave Junbin a discount as well. We then went to arcade where we played Photohunt and Daytona. It's so Nostalgic. In fact, this version of Daytona is the original version that was played 14 years ago! At first I was supposed to pick Mei up from Katong Mall and visit Kiat's Mum's shop. But since Mei said that she's coming home by herself, I decided not to go.
Table Tennis tonight
Woke up @ 9:40 am. Had a solid 9 hours' of sleep last night. The first thing I read in the papers was that the live telecast of the Prime Minister's National Day Rally would be postponed till the next day so that Singaporeans would be able to catch the final of the Table Tennis Women's Team event between Singapore and China. It's also good for me coz it'll give people @ tonight's gathering something to do.

Went Silat Road to watch Ge Tai
Paragon Shuttle Bus schedule
Strong women
Watched the Women's Weightlifting event on TV. The ladies looked scary. They could just grab 120 kg just like that. That's like Ling & Me combined. Some of them were so fat that they needed a belt to tighten their fats. Nevertheless, it's quite boring to watch and I ended up sleeping while watching it.
My first 歌台
Kiat passed his IPPT today. The 4 of us went down to Blk 46 @ Lengkok Bahru to look for the 歌台 coz the stupid stomp websited indicated it as 46 Bukit Merah. We couldn't see anything. Kiat even called his friend Colin who stays @ Blk 47 Lengkok Bahru if there's any 歌台 around. There wasn't any around. We saw an auction and opera going on @ Redhill Market. Told Yaren that it's the real traditional 歌台. But it's still not the real deal. Asked the Uncle while buying Fishball Noodles on where is the nearest 歌台. He straightaway told me that it's somewhere @ Silat Road. He's certainly well-informed. After taking a short drive down, we could finally hear it. When we reached there, it was so crowded that we couldn't even get near enough to the stage. Tried climiing up an HDB Block to watch. All we saw was the roof. In the end, we found the tiniest of spaces @ the side of the stage. Some of the singers were good. Some of them were lousy and couldn't connect w the audience. Liu Ling Ling was damn good as an MC. She could stall for time without anyone feeling it. @ the end of the show, she got one of the audience from Hong Kong to sing with her and they conversed in Cantonese. The 歌台 ended sharply @ 11 pm. We bought a drink, took a drive to Rifle Range Road before calling it a night.
Tanglin Halt 齋米粉
Mummy offered to lend us the Civic coz Ling's appointment w San Jiu is @ 12 noon. Dropped Mummy off @ Zion Road. Before going to Tanglin Halt. Ling wanted to eat the Tanglin Halt 齋米粉. She said that it's the only 齋米粉 she eats. Coming from Ling, it's must be quite exceptional. The price is also exceptional @ $2.50. The taste was good. Plenty of oil. But Ling insists that it's the gravy. Should have taken at least a photo. Would have preferred the Bee Hoon Kosong as usual.

Patapon
Ling finally cleared the Master Baban stage on her own! She then went all the way to the final stage. But she couldn't clear it. So I killed Gorl for her.
Running into Thao
Went down to Clementi for porridge w Ling. Ran into Thao and her boyfriend after that. They were going to a Japanese restaurant nearby for dinner. The boyfriend looked quite old. Thao says he likes to study.
Table Tennis Semi-Final
Watched Ping Pong between South Korea and Singapore. Arguably, it's the first time in my life where I actually watched a full Table-Tennis match, let alone a full team match. It was a good decision as I was kept on my feet throughout the matches. The best match was the last one between Kim Kyung Ah and Li Jiawei. I think Kim Kyung Ah was the most skillful player in the whole tie. Her retrieval was superb as it was going all over the place and giving Li Jiawei lots of problem. Singapore triumphed eventually and yes, we got at least a silver medal.
Mummy on Facebook?
Mummy actually asked me to give her a walk thru on Facebook. Just create an account and jump in lah. I believe in showing, not telling.

3 rare events
3 rare events happened @ badminton. Some girls and an old man booked the court from 6 pm to 8 pm. AA Café was opened. 进杰 joined us. Naturally, we went AA Café to wait for 8 pm to come. The lady in charge of the café said that they now close early coz they've got another outlet @ Cashew Heights.
Tired
Ling wanted Bee Hoon. So I took a stroll to the coffeeshop @ 6:10 am to find out that I was even earlier than the Bee Hoon. So we went back to instant noodles. I'm still feeling the effects of sleeping @ 1+ for 2 nights in a row. Purposely bathed and changed into my work attire straightaway. The strong sunlight made sleeping on the beach chair unbearable.

24-hour Shop 'N Save
Took a trip down to the 24-hour Shop 'N Save @ Redhill Close for Ling's fresh milk. It was only manned by one single cashier. But I'm glad that we have a cheap 24-hour supermarket in Singapore. Was rewarded w a locked door when I went home. Ling accidentally locked it. Again. By now, I'm well-versed in such scenarios and simply went downstairs for the room key.
Horny Mocha
This time, Mocha did not attempt to sniff @ my dick. I tried unsuccessfully to make Mocha sniff Jack's dick though.
歌台
Got the 歌台 Schedule from the Stomp website. A huge percentage of the 歌台s are in the northern and eastern parts of Singapore. What happened to the West Side. Thinking of going to the Yishun or Joo Seng 歌台 this Saturday.
Lunch @ Tiong Bahru
Kiat's Mum came w Kiat & Yaren, picked me up from OG Bus Stop & we went Tiong Bahru Market for lunch. Yaren still looked the same. The only person that changed hairstyles is Kiat. Kiat attacked the 水粿 like a hungry beast. As his mother & me bought plate after plate of good food. I got the usual Fried Kway Teow and Carrot Cake. Kiat's Mum got porridge, Otak, Fishball Noodles & dessert. The only thing lousy was the Chee Cheong Fan, which Kiat bought. Yaren is still having the effects of yesterday's fever but at least she enjoyed the food. Asked his Mum to drop me @ Havelock Road coz I didn't want her to pay ERP and let the PAP earn $1 for nothing.

Perfect weather
The weather is perfect today. No sun. No rain. Powerful air-cond @ Sushi Tei. Nice music in the background. But the peacefulness will soon be replaced by the lunchtime din.
Chalet in October
Chatted w Junbin on MSN and we talked about having a chalet from 24-26 October. Junbin's cousin is able to get bungalows @ a cheap price. So I'm really looking forward to it. It'll be a weekend of celebrations as it'll be some sort of bachelor's night for Junbin and Ling's birthday will be on 27 October.
Fellow cyclists
Some bare-bodied guy on a racer shouted 'C'mon!' to me while I was jogging around One George Street. It's good to see a fellow cyclists on the road. Maybe I shouldn't use the term fellow cyclists as I don't have a road worthy bike now. Really missed those days when I cycled to wherever I wanted to go.

Saw another SLK as first prize for some GE Lucky Draw
Dinner @ Bedok
Went Bedok for 肉脞麺. But the 興記 stall wasn't open. So I got a bowl from their neighbour. Couldn't tell the difference between the 興記 stall and the neighbour. I didn't want the 肉脞麺 because it costs $2.50 now. Instead, I went for the 'award-winning' $2 Carrot Cake. Almost every stall here is an award winning stall. It's almost as if the awards have replaced the hawker licenses.
Fried Kway Teow - Then no Fried Kway Teow
Junbin was kind enough to ask if I want to eat Fried Kway Teow from Penang. He's flying in from Penang today. But he ended up coming back without them coz he and his friends were running out of time on the way to the airport. It's okay, next time when I go back, I'll gobble up a good portion.
钱不够用2
Watched 钱不够用2 w Ling @ Vivo. After Jo, Kit & Yeo gave so good reviews on it, I had to watch it for myself. I must say, the opening scenes where the protesting Singaporeans throw ERP gantries into the sea was hilarious. I couldn't find much fault w the show. It was so Singaporean and we could all identify w the characters. Yeo said that the final part where the children took turns to push their mother around is so much like his family. It also reminded of the time Ling's Dad's family did that to Ling's Grandma. It was touching when the old mother decided to kill herself so that her grand-daughter who got into an accident could use the last bags of blood from the blood bank. There were tears in my eyes @ that scene. Would give this movie a 9 out of 10.
Best things in life are always free
Sat around Vivo City w Ling while waiting for our show to start. Sometimes it's simply good to just sit @ a shopping centre and observe people without buying anything. I purposely didn't want to buy any alcohol today so as to cut down on unnecessary spending. Enjoyed a great deal eating Doritos w Ling and looking at the children around us.

Olympics
Thought of checking out the Olympics. So I switched my channels between a few events. The basketball game between China and USA was a largely one-sided event from the second quarter on. Found myself rooting for China when they were level briefly w the Americans. But soon the Yankees moved up a gear and steam-rolled past China. Surprised myself when I found the women's gymnastics more boring than the men's version. Maybe it's because the male version is more strength based while for the female version, it's a competition on who dances better on bars/poles. Watched weightlifting as well. Some baby-faced 17-yr-old from China is kicking ass. The North Koreans were a disappointment. Judo was confusing to watch. I've got no idea what the guys/gals were doing and I've got no idea when is a point scored and the women's gold was won by a China lady who looks like a man but she's a mother already. I switched channels just in time to watch the women's archery final. It's pretty intuitive. Each team has 3 persons. Each team has 24 shots to make. Each shot is worth a maximum of 10 points. Each ring away from the bullseye is one point less. So a perfect game is 240 points. The Koreans hold a world record of 231 points. As expected, being the 6-time defending champion, the Koreans had 220+ points compared to China's 210+ pts.
Exercising @ Fitness First
Went jogging on the threadmill @ Fitness First today. The feeling you get after a run is always fantastic. One of the sub-concious reasons that I prefer not to run on the threadmill is because it removes the option of slowing down where you are tired. You are forced to keep pace. It makes you real tired but the feeling after that is always good.
6-day week vs 7-day week
Fetched Ling's parents to the temple @ 四马路. Ling joined them while I went to Fitness First. Ling's Dad remarked that for the first time in a year, he went to town during the day time. Frankly I think they should just forget about the stall on Sundays. There's a phenomenal difference between a 6-day week and a 7-day week. Even lowest life form NSF recruits could rest on Sundays.
Dozed off
Was supposed to go Ling's parents house for lunch. She even asked her Mum to boil extra eggs for me. But Ling dozed off. Didn't want to wake her up. So I ate a bit of Myojo Curry.
排球宝贝
Watched a bit of Olympics. The TV Channel stayed mostly on the female beach volleyball match between Mexico and Brazil. Brazil won as expected as they were the favourites. But I was surprised that they were only the sixth seeds. Could hear the mandarin announcer in the background. The announcer addressed them as 排球宝贝. It was quite evident most of the crowd were supporting Brazil. Heard lots of 巴西加油.

The only thing good about this place
Humid night
The night was so humid that I purposely went Sheng Shiong to buy bread for Ling instead of going to Food Lion nearby. No prizes for guessing that it was for the air-conditioner. The cool comfort was short-lived as I have to go back eventually. Never stopped perspiring even though I fell asleep on the sofa.
Ling's Mum's cooking
Went down to Tanglin Halt w Ling. For the first time since Chinese New Year, Ling's parents are not opening their fruit juice stall coz it's 七月. Ling's Mum prepared lots of food. But the only thing I ate was the Curry Gravy, Rice and the potatoes in the curry. They seem to like a lot of meat. There's so much chicken in the curry that I pretended not to see it as I scooped the curry. Ling as usual couldn't take rice so I went Sheng Shiong to get bread for her.
NDP 2008
Recorded NDP for Kiat. So indirectly, I ended up watching a good part of the parade. The parade itself was tquite standard. The only highlight was Phoebe's fiance driving the president around. The performances were great, but maybe @ 31 years old, all performances and fireworks are just, people moving to music and circles of light superimposed on the night sky. Managed to catch the fireworks from Tanglin Halt.
Lunch @ Tanglin Halt
Woke up @ 7:05 am. Couldn't go Bukit Batok West Market w Mummy again. Lazed around in bed w Ling. Mummy back and told me about her China trip near the end of the month. Fetched Mei to Brighton coz her phone turned off by itself suddenly and the alarm went with it. We also selected dishes for the family gathering on 17 Aug. I'm glad that Neo Garden now has Curry Vegetables on their menu. Went Tanglin Halt Market for lunch. The car park has been cordoned off for the National Day Dinner. It looks like the dinner happened yesterday. Most of the stalls @ the hawker centre were closed. So we had Chicken Rice @ the corner coffee shop. Soup is lousy. It has an after-taste of Chicken Liver. The Green Vegetables were lousy. The rice was lousy. Only the chilli was good. We went over to the hawker centre for dessert. Thankfully, the dessert stall is still open. Mummy wanted Bubor Cha Cha with only the Sweet Potato. But she didn't tell me whether she wanted hot or cold. So I ended up ordering the hot one for her and it was wrong. I've already told her to place the order herself. Granny enjoyed the Chendol without red beans and syrup. She loved it so much that she wanted another bowl. Ling enjoyed her Ice Kachang thoroughly. She waited a week for this. We sat around for a while even after finishing coz it was so comfortable and cool. It's so unlike our home in Hua Guan Avenue where it's hot and humid.

Ad-hoc badminton kaki
David brought Ryan along to play badminton as 八舅 and Ziteng couldn't make it. But they came late. So Lawrence, Yeo & me took turns to play singles. The singles game w Lawrence nearly killed me. I've not played such a tough match in a long time. For the record I lost 15-9. It's obvious that Ryan doesn't play quite often. But it was good of him to come nevertheless.
Imaginable and unimaginable courses
Decided to eat Curry Mee and Bee Hoon Kosong for lunch. The 3 girls (Irene, Valerie & Xinhui) have decided to eat Curry Chicken Chop Mee. The words Chicken Chop is worth $2. My Curry Mee Kosong was only $1. Tang Seng came back late coz he went to see a doctor. It's a small lunch group today. Irene told just that she's going for Marriage Preparation course coz she wants a Catholic church wedding so her future husband and her were mandated to attend. I still think all these courses are a waste of time. Just read in the newspapers the next day that there'll be courses for JC students on how to fall in love.

Power trip
My air-conditioner began dripping water again. I think some of that leaked onto my TV/Router/Hi-Fi/SCV Box power point and it caused a trip @ our house's electrical box. Mei slept through the whole thing and only woke up after the power came back. She even thought that Mummy turned off the air-cond. Stupid air-cond in my room. Is it due for a retirement after 16 years in the work force? So we decided to sleep without air-conditioning. Opened the windows fully. Suprisingly, I managed to last until morning.
High M1 bill
Went through my M1 bill and saw that it's $125.13. They've charged me for August 2008 as well coz I renewed contract in July. Is this the normal practice? Also saw that my SMSes hit 700+. I think it's due to my new phone being very SMS friendly.
Late posters
Saw this poster in the Fitness First toilet about Fitness First being the official gym of the Olympic water polo teams. That explains why they were here last week. It's strange that the posters came up only after they've left for Beijing.

Couldn't sleep. Have been in bed since 1 am. Even playing Tetris simply got me more awake. Turned on the TV and watched 爆幹賓果王. They have roped in REAL pool players now. I could recognise Wang Hung Siang. Pool is one of the biggest sports in Taiwan. Even those bimbo lookalikes are actually pool champions in disguise.

Ling's Mum's porridge
Ling didn't take dinner @ home coz her Mum prepared porridge for her. As usual, Ling ate half a bowl and gave me the rest. I always love Ling's Mum's cooking. But this time, I think Ling took too much Century eggs and I ended up finishing the balance.
The long sleep
Slept the whole day on Sunday. I think alcohol-wise, I didn't drink a lot. It's simply because of the late night. Was partly influenced by Ling sleeping the whole day. Tried to watch the World Pool Masters in the afternoon. Ended up dozing off anyway.
Fetching water melons
Helped Ling's parents to transport water melons from Sheng Shiong to the canteen. The canteen is being washed in the morning. But I don't think they did a good job. The tables and floors are always oily and I see rats occasionally.

Ling's new recorder
Ling got her new voice recorder from Best Denki @ Ngee Ann City. She could claim from Hwa Chong. So she paid for it. After all, she's using it to record the minutes of meeting. Yixuan was around to help her choose. It's the first time I meet Yixuan face to face.
NDP Preview
Mummy will be watching the NDP Preview today w 五舅. He had extra tickets and Mummy asked if I wanted to go. But Val would be coming over tonight. So I would give it a miss. Anyway, after my involvement in 1997, I've lost much interest in NDPs.
Last episode
Watched the last episode of the Beach Volleyball show. It was a wholesome ending. I think in general, the endings of TCS shows have improved in recent times. For this show, I think Jessica Liu's hairstyle sucks. Though she had better features than her partner, the hairstyle made her partner look prettier.
Breakfast
Had Eggs, Peanut & Porridge for breakfast @ home before taking Ling to Bukit Timah Market. Parked @ Bukit Timah Avenue. We bought Roasted Meat, 豆花水 & 猪肠粉. Have been spending less than $10 per day for the last 2 days. Hopefully I can keep it up.

Tanglin Halt and a short drive
Ling was craving for Ice Kachang after I had dinner @ home. We made our way down to Tanglin Halt. The dessert stall was closed so we settled for Fried Oyster instead. Today is also the first day of the 七月. It's the month of 歌台s. But for today @ Tanglin Halt, there was a Lion Dance performance. Didn't want to go back so early, so we took a drive to Geylang, Mustafa Centre and Dunlop Street. Eventually got bored of driving and went back.
Another Water Polo Team
Went Fitness First to bathe after work. This time, it's the German Water Polo team wrapping up. Like the Montenegrin team, they seem like giant humans to me. Is Fitness First the official gym of the water polo invitation? If it is, it is certainly a long way from Singapore Sports School.
