Office - 1420 hrs - No T7
Ling took my T7 to office today as it's her last day @ ADRC. There'll be no pics from me for today. I'll use my T7 more after I clear my work on tableforsix.sg.
Office - 1415 hrs - My cycling trip yesterday
Went Changi Beach w Ling and cycled from one end to the other. Changi Beach is 3.3 km long. It starts @ Changi Point and ends @ the Ferry Terminal where you can take a car ferry to Tanjong Belungkor. The place looks quite abandoned even though a titbits shop is being manned and the next Ferry was just 4 hours away.

Tanglin Halt - 1710 hrs
Came here to get soup from Ling's home. Picked Suh Yi up from home before dropping them @ Far East Plaza. Went over to Fitness First for a good bath before going over the Marina Square to look for the travel shop that Edwin mentioned. It's a one-stop travel shop. With many maps of many different places. But still no Map of Bulgaria. Walked over to Time Bookshop and saw a map of Lombok. Now I know what is Rinesh & Edwin talking about. Lombok is the island that Mataram is one and Gili Islands is just off Lombok. Went back to Far East Plaza to meet Ling & Suhyi. Ling was telling me how cute Suhyi's shoe box is. All I saw was an ordinary box w a string handle that was too long.
Changi Village - 1320 hrs
There was a long queue @ the Nasi Lemak stall. I think I queued half-an-hour for it. Ling then bought Nasi Lemak from another stall. There's not much difference except the Chilli.
PIE - 1035 hrs - Earth Hour
It was suppsed to happen @ 8 pm last night. I spent it @ Alecxandra Hawker Centre w Ling & her family, enjoyable BBQ Sting Ray, Carlsberg Special & Carrot Cake. They are hardly activities that are 'green'. Anyway, it's not practical to have Earth Hour @ Night unless we have a blackout like what happened a couple of years in Singapore. Junxu remarked that it was the only time he talked to his neighbours. I'll do my Earth Hour today @ Changi Beach.
PIE - 1030 hrs
We are on our way to Changi Village for cycling. Ling turned towards Jurong @ the Eng Neo-PIE Interchange and we had to u-turn @ Dairy Farm Road.

Home - 2210 hrs
Ling & I decided to sleep early. I tuned the radio to 90.5. I think it's the first time I tuned the radio to 90.5 after my wedding. Those old songs always remind me of the 80s for some strange reasons. Maybe it's because Daddy used to tune to an English station in his old Toyota Corona. Memories. Those Victor & Charlie shows.
Home - 2205 hrs
I also set up the Singnet Wireless router @ home. Lots pf physical work. Mainly moving furniture around. I was expecting some strange creature to jump out @ me under the staircase. But there were none. I did a performance test of both the connections using MapleStory. Starhub fared slightly better but it wasn't a good time to test when every kid is Mapling.
Home - 2140 hrs
Did a few things today. Went Ling's home to confirm that her Mum had remembered to turn off the gas. Went Ghim Moh for western food. The chicken chop was nicer than my fish dory. Got my Istanbul map from Page One @ Vivo City. Though it's not to my standard, it's still passable. Was greeted by a piece of paper when I got back to my Kelisa. Parked outside Harbourfront of course. Some security guard pasted some paper saying that I am blocking the driveway. The surprising thing was it all happened when Ling was sleeping in the car and she didn't realise it until the man went to the car behind. We then went to ADRC for Ling to collect her stuff. It was less than I expected. Wanted to check out the Claypot Laksa @ Market Street. But ended up @ Ling's Parents' fruit stall and playing Patapon. Got a little bored and bought beer for Ling's Dad & I. We then went to Alexandra Village for dinner. We planned to to Qing Ming next Saturday and celebate the birthday of Ling's parents @ Lai Wah on Saturday night. Will think about my guest list later in the week.
Home - 1055 hrs - Patapon
These 2 days have been 'Patapon' days for Ling & me. It's the latest game to enter our lives. We have to press buttons on the PSP over a fixed pattern. The success of our pressing determines how well our troops move & fight.

Fitness First - 0840 hrs
Tried to take a nap here but couldn't get to sleep at all. The sun didn't make it any easier. Last night's dinner was great. Went to the coffee shop near my house w Lawrence and he ordered this Pork Curry. There were no bones. We loved it absoutely. Went Mobil to put petrol. The Kelisa has been quite a drinker recently. This round, it is drinking @ a rate of 13.5 km/l. Went home to find Ling cooking Mushroom Soup for Mei. So I told her to cook one more bowl for me. Mei introduced the Fried Kway Teow @ Kiliney Kopitiam. Nice but expensive. $5 for a packet.

Merchant Loop - 1850 hrs
Thought that with lots of time to spare, I'll end up eating and drinking while waiting for 7 pm to come. I ended up browsing through books and magazines @ Kinokuniya and I'm proud of that. Was looking for a map of Istanbul as well but there isn't any. Saw a rare map of United Arab Emirates though.

Home - 1320 hrs
Woke up this morning. Didn't remember how the night ended. Mummy is having a bad hangover. I still feel groggy. Took Mummy, 满姑 & Ling to Double O last night. Alex joined us too. Free flow drinks for the ladies while Alex & I down 2 jugs of Vodka Orange and a jug of Vodka Lime. Went home for Grey Goose and Orange Juice. By the time Mei called (I didn't even remember the phone call) @ midnight, we have already stopped for the night. Went for lunch @ Casuarina Curry w 满姑. Saw a badly smashed up panel van outside Yarwood Mobil on the way back.

Alex wanted a ride to Golden Mile & Selegie Road. He offered to pay. So here I am. With my Kelisa. I'm quite effective working @ home. Within 2 hours, some semblence of my AACM query system is already up.

Cycling @ night
Cycled around the estate w Ling sitting behind me. We went to Binjai Park before coming back by Jalan Kampong Chantek. Jalan Kampong Chantek can get quite eerie @ night. For a good part of the road, the houses are on one side while there's thick vegetation on the other.
Home - 2025 hrs
Plenty of good food @ home tonight. Must have over-ate again. Will cycle later if weather permits. Fetched Ling from office coz of the rain. Was held up by some jam along AYE coz of a broken down vehicle. Man Gu & Granny are watching a TVBS program on Lydia Sum. Again. I know she's a media icon. But isn't it an overkill if you show nothing but her programmes @ prime time for more than a month after she passed away. Same goes for MC King. We already saw 2 consecutive 9 pm television series w MC King.
Last Night
Took Granny & 满姑 to Labrador Park. It's been a while since I took Granny out. We took lots of photos of Granny. 满姑 managed to convince Granny not to use 水粉 as it makes her face too white. We then went to pick Ling up from Bukit Timah Shopping Centre before going to Bedok for Bak Chor Mee. Ordered Fried Oyster as well. I feel that the Bak Chor Mee standard has dropped slightly because it's now prepared in large volumes. Granny wanted Sugar Cane Juice. We simply told her that there are fruits @ home. Watched Man U thrash Liverpool 3-0 when I got home. Liverpool didn't even put up a fight. I think only Torres played football. It's boring to see Man U winning @ Old Trafford. Luckily I didn't watch Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-1 @ Stamford Bridge.

Bukit Timah Shopping Centre - 1815 hrs
Hope that Ling won't be too late. But so far so good, Granny didn't complain @ all. Granny kept asking which building is Ling teaching @.
Bukit Timah Shopping Centre - 1750 hrs
Just did Labrador Park w Granny & Man Gu. Took lots of pictures. We even had time to explore the Mount Faber park connector @ Preston Road. Though it's under construction, I saw 2 monkeys using it already.
Coronation Drive - 1555 hrs
I love today. Nice weather. Cycling in the morning. Working @ home. Spaghetti Cabonara. Quiet. Peaceful. What else can you ask for? There is. Of course. The down side about today is that Ling has 4 hours of tuition and I have to play chauffeur. It would be nice if we have no routines on weekends.
My cycling trip
Home to West Coast MacDonalds's - 0710 to 0745
West Coast MacDonald's to Tanjong Pagar Railway Station - 0750 to 0840
Tanjong Pagar Railway Station to Mr Prata - 0905 to 0940
Mr Prata to Home - 1000 to 1030

West Coast Park MacDonald's - 0745
Just cycled here from home. Took me 35 minutes. I've not cycled for a long time and it was great to feel the calories burning as I negotiated 5 uphills along Clementi Road. Kept turning my head to look for Edwin in case he caught up w me. I needed that headstart coz my foldable bike vs his roadster is like a Hyundai racing w an F1 car. It all started from last night when Ling & I met Edwin for a drink @ a Belgiab Pub along Hillcrest Road. Edwin's friend Rinesh joined us and being a bike enthusiast, conversation soon turned to cycling.

Sent my bike for repairs
Far East Plaza - 1810 hrs
I'm still @ Far East Plaza. Ling just walked into another shop. It's all because of the rain that we ended in Orchard @ all. We would have been cycling happily @ Changi Beach.
Far East Plaza - 1805 hrs
I don't know how I ended up shopping again for the 2nd day in a row. But we were @ Borders and Ling said that I owe her a dress. So we took a short walk here. Couldn't find any Istanbul Map from Borders. Looks like I got to order them from omnimap.com.
Home - 1448 hrs
Have to miss the Good Friday service @ Garden of Remembrance coz they start way too late. I still want to repair my bike and go to Changi Village. I'll be visiting Daddy during Qing Ming on 4 Apr this year anyway. Just fixed the 'full' events bug for tableforsix.
LTA Inspection
LTA sent 2 person down to take photos of the house's structure. One is an Indian w golden long hair. The other is a young girl. They look more like they are going somewhere clubbing than people in the Civil Engineering field.
My bike is sick
The front tyres to be exact. Brought it to Mobil to pump in the air. But the air just let itself out as quickly. Have to lug it back to Pearl's Hill to get it fixed again.
A skype conversation
姑姑 called just as I woke up. Ended up setting up the Skype chat so that we can have a video call. She kept saying that I am fat and that I should wear a shirt when entertaining friends @ home. She also said that Ling is thin. It was a good conference call as she managed to see everyone (including Mei) except Mummy, who had to work on a Saturday.

Crowd @ Bugis
It's the first time in my life that I had to queue up when crossing a traffic light.
Granny's handwriting
We made Granny write stuff so that her fingers can remain active.
Ling cooked lunch today
At home
Drank about 3 cm of Grey Goose Vodka @ home before sleeping. Vodka is still my poison of choice. It doesn't give a hangover. Ling showed me Xiaxue's room. I didn't give a shit as all I see is pink.
A trip w the family
Went numerous places. Decided to go in the Kelisa as it was Good Friday. Wanted to go Takashimaya. But the Orchard Road jam made us go straight to Bugis. Dropped Mei & Ling @ Bugis before taking Mummy & 满姑 to Golden Mile for them to buy bus tickets. 满姑 is going back to Bukit Mertajam next Wednesday. We then went back to Bugis for shopping. Normally I'm not a big fan of shopping. But since the whole family is shopping, I'll relent. We then went Rochor Centre for Bak Kut Teh before going to Sheng Shiong @ Tanglin Halt for more shopping. Bought Fried Oyster from the Tanglin Halt hawker centre as I wanted Mummy & 满姑 to taste what a good plate of Fried Oyster should taste like. Dropped Mei @ Lido before going home.
Bugis Street - 1700 hrs
Bugis Street is damn bloody hot. The human rights commission should be called in for poor guys like us who have to shop w our MSWAGs (Mothers, Sisters, Wives & Girlfriends).
Lunch time
Ling cooked Chicken Wing, Cabbage & Minced Meat for lunch. I showed 满姑 those photos on my laptop. I think today is the only day in Mar when everyone is at home.

Badminton and bday celebration
There were lots of 水蚁s around during badminton. A lot of the casualties were on the floor. The murder weapon most likely is our badminton racquets. I can find my game deteriorating as I've not been exercising enough. Lawrence came as well. Ah Kit met us @ the court so that we can go off together for his birthday supper. We then picked Ling up from home before going to Rainforest for food and drinks. I think Ah Kit can click better w Lawrence & Ling than the rest of the drinking bunch. So it was a good dinner. I even had a personal fan beside me.
NZ Dollar
Our NZ Fixed Deposit continues to drop with the NZ Dollar today. I think if Ling buys stocks, she'll be like one of the tai tais and stare @ the stock screen whole day. She even wants to create an excel file to keep track of the NZ Dollar.

19 Mar 2008 - Wed [Load Images from 19 Mar 2008 - Wed]
Just reached home
Granny, Mummy & 满姑 was out when we got home. Mei was home. A rarity nowadays. Especially when it's prime time. Ling did some excel file to tabulate her spendings. We then checked our New Zealand Dollar Fixed deposit and found out that the NZD has dropped by about 2.4%. Hopefully it doesn't drop further.
Some idiot @ the u-turn
Some fucking uncle in a white Merc kept blowing his horn @ Ling @ the Jalan Jambu Ayer u-turn. Gave him the finger of course. I would have upped the ante by slowing the car further down.
Making full use of the coupon
Decided to fetch Ling to & from Mt Sinai. After all, we paid $40 to use the Kelisa today so we must make full use of it. Also, Ling will get home earlier and we can have more time @ home.
Cintech II - 1750 hrs
Some security guard asked me whether my car broke down when I stopped outside Cintech II. I thought he was gg to chase me away. But he was just warning me that Science Park Drive is a small road and those big buses may knock into my car.

Supper
We went Bukit Timah Market for supper. It shouldn't be called supper coz Uncle Peng Yin ate an Ice Kachang and the rest of us ate 2 bowls of 豆花. I must say the Ice Kachang guy is one of the slowest hawker that I've seen. I feel like doing everything on my own. If I can't do that, I'll want to clobber him with my size 9 slippers. The good part of the outing was buying Fried Oyster back for everyone to eat. Gave some Greygoose to Uncle Peng Yin and he in turn offered me Red Wine.
Home - 2055
There are 3 computers in the house and I can't use any of them. The only one that I want to use is used by Ling to MSN Phoebe & Suhyi. The other one doesn't have internet. Mummy is using her laptop. Thought I wouldn't need my T41 @ home but I was wrong.
Me the baby
A group of Aunties watched me eat dinner @ home. Granny, Mummy, Auntie Lily, 满姑 & Ling. Ling took out the bones in the fish for me. She said that I'm like a baby. Auntie Lily bought dinner for all of us today. We started talking about the time when I was a kid. So did Ling. Went to join Uncle Peng Yin in watching the EPL Highlights. I think it's one of the few times where I watched football downstairs during prime time.
Someone is back from Hokkaido
Andy sent his Harddisk to ADRC for recovery and even spoke to Ling. But he didn't recognise Ling's voice until she told him. Ling says that he sounded quite stoned. That's the way he usually talks. Anyway, I will also respond the same way as Andy. That means Andy is back from Hokkaido w Pauline and it's confirmed when Andy sent a link of his Hokkaido photos to us.
The early morning
Ling woke up early w me today. There was good quality sleep (7.5 hrs) last night. Uncle Peng Yin also woke up early (he's following Adelaide's office hours) and asked me some stuff about firewall as he's going to log in and trade in shares. Dropped Ling @ Tanglin Halt before going straight to Fitness First. Didn't sleep today @ Fitness First but wrote my blog instead. Decided to something more productive.

Wanted to do some work @ night. But was so tired that I slept early @ 10:30 pm.
Night Tour
Took Mummy, 满姑, Uncle Peng Yin, Auntie Lily & Ling out for a night tour. First stop was Little India. Uncle Peng Yin wanted to check out the area coz Jerald is intending to book a hotel here with his family. The sight of the hordes of Bangladeshi workers (it's a Sunday) un-nerved everyone in the car. He promptly decided that Little India is not a place to stay for an entire family. Our next stop was Thalma Road. It's now in-famous for it's prostitutes lining the streets. There were as many gawkers (us) as 'purchasers'. Made a detour to Bencoolen Street, YWCA, Robertson Quay, Upper Cross Street & Bukit Pasoh Road to check out more hotels. I then took through Mount Faber & South Buona Vista Road before going home.
Dinner
Mummy suggested that we go to the Coffee Shop near our house. This was a good suggestion as I've never eaten there w Mummy before. We ordered Curry Fish Head, Seafood Dou Fu, Hot Plate Dou Fu, Sambal Kang Kong & Lemon Chicken. I shared a bottle of Barons w Uncle Peng Yin, of which Granny asked for, and got, a few sips. Filling dinner. Everyone over-ate.
Singapore Day Tour
Uncle Peng Yin & Auntie Lily came to stay w us for a few days. Took them on a drive around Singapore this afternoon. Our first stop was Tiong Bahru Market. Uncle Peng Yin ordered Fried Kway Teow while Auntie Lily had porridge. As expected, Uncle Peng Yin preferred the Malaysian Fried Kway Teow. So do I. We picked Ling up from Coronation Drive before driving down to the Singapore Flyer. I thought that the tickets are all sold out. But little did I realise that not only there were tickets. There wasn't any queue at all. Uncle Peng Yin promptly paid $120+ for 4 tickets (Quite Pai Seh that he paid and he refused to take my money). It was a unique experience in the flyer. We didn't even feel the thing moving. But slowly, we found ourselves staring @ the landscape around us. We could see clearly the F1 paddocks, the Sands IR Construction, Marina East and the Marina Dam. I think we have been too reliant on the net. Just because the website said that the online tix for The Singapore Flyer has been sold, we chose to believe that. It nevered occured to me to walk in and ask. Our next stop was Sentosa Cove. We are now barred from entering the area where the bungalows are completed. We could still enter the parts that are under construction. There are some many filthy rich people around the world. After stopping @ Harbourfront MRT for them to buy EZ Link cards, we went home. End of day tour.

Parking Attendant issuing summons outside Holiday Home
Opening account @ DBS
Went DBS to open a New Zealand-dollar Fixed Deposit. There was a 45-minute wait for the next available customer service officer. We spent most of the time @ Popular. As if on cue, Ling went to the Stationery department and I went to the maps section. I soon got bored of the maps section and started wandering aimlessly around the shop, debating whether to just go home for lunch first or to continue waiting aimlessly. We ended waiting @ the branch. The 45-minute wait became a 45-minute wait as expected and we managed to open our account. Georgina served us. We put SGD5k in @ 8% p.a interest for a period of 6 months. It was a good experience. No cross-selling of stupid Unit Trusts or Policies from Aviva. I think when they know that we are opening an FCFD, they know that we know what to do with our money.
My morning
We got 七姨's car today so Ling & I decided to go out in the morning. First stop was Farrer Court. We were there more to find out when will the upgrading be done. The signboard said 4th quarter 2008. Our next stop was Claypot Laksa @ Alexandra Village. Followed by a shopping trip to Bukit Merah. Bought an adapter for the Thailand trip as well as some mini screws. Also bought a fan for Mummy to blow those damned mosquitoes away. The bites on her legs were horrible. We then went to Ling's parents' stall before heading to Bukit Timah Plaza to open a Foreign Currency Fixed Deposit Account.

Badminton
Only 五舅, 八舅, David & me turned up for badminton today. But it was enough. We played 6 sets of badminton today. Nearly died. An interesting phenomenom was that the side that faced the toilet always lost. 五舅 & 八舅 started on the side facing the toilet and we alternated sides. With the score @ 3-2 in our favour. It was David & I on the 'sway' side. I was very determined to break the curse and gave my all for the last match. It was quite frustrating at the start when the 'non-sway' side had the lion's share of the luck. David & I simply put in more hard work before we finally broke the curse and won the set.
Alone to Nong Doen
Alex at first wanted to meet me @ the airport. But my flight only lands @ 7 pm and the last bus to Udon Thani from Nong Doen is @ 10 am. So I'm going to Nong Doen alone after all.

Do Nothing
Purposely pushed everything away @ night. I even skipped my Bak Chor Mee just to spend some time w Ling. It has been a hectic March. It's very healthy to force yourself to 'do nothing' once in a while. Even when Junbin called about an Ezhouse bug, I put it off till the next day coz I slept early too.

An ultimatum
Mei messaged me that she's going supper and won't be back by 6 am. Gave her the ultimatum of 1 'night's out' per week starting from tonight and I mean it. I'll personally enforce it. If I have to comb every supper known place to enforce it, I will coz I'm insance enough to do that. I simply don't like it when it becomes a habit for family members to stay out of home. When I went out, I only stayed out for special occasions or when very special circumstances arise. Mei is making a habit out of it. - This paragraph has been made public delibrately so that all my friends will get the message.

Called Udon Thani
Called up the Avis office @ Udon Thani Airport. Thank God the guy there could understand English and he could confirm my car on 11 Apr. At least I don't have to say 'Kun Poot Passat Ang Grit Dai Mai?' (Can you speak English?) to him.

Rush Hour 3
Rented Rush Hour 3 and watched it. The storyline sucks. It ended so suddenly (1 hr and 20 minutes). I could write a better plot. A worldwide $50 billion criminial organisation could only hire 4 assassins?
A clean Kelisa
Vacuumed & washed the Kelisa after lunch. Ling took out the ribbons on the door handles as she couldn't stand it any more.
More bad news for BN

As I'm righting now, 2 prominent members of Barisan Nasional lost. They are Penang's outgoing Chief Minister Koh Tsu Koon & MIC President Samy Vellu. Samy Vellu's loss is quite expected. Even Mahathir criticised him in the newspapers today. If I'm not wrong, the opposition has taken over Penang already. Anyway, it's a bad time to call an elections. Public opinion of the ruling party is @ a real low. If the reason for such snap elections is because of Anwar's elections ban expiring next month. Then I think it's a stupid decision.
Dinner
Went Lai Wah for dinner w 表姑 and her family. It's a surprise that we managed to book a table @ all in the afternoon. Food was good. But no one wanted to try my Greygoose. So I drank alone. They booked Fragrance Hotel without realising that it's right smack in the middle of our red-light district. There's good and bad to it. Good is that they see a seldom-seen side of Singapore. Bad is that it wouldn't be safe for Ah Wei or even 表姑 to venture out of the hotel alone.
Black Cones
Stupid black cones have appeared near the Taxi Stand @ Bukit Timah Plaza. Purpose? Maybe to deter people from being picked up @ the taxi stand by normal cars. I think it just adds more congestion to an already congested road.
Crowded polling station
I could sort of guess when 表姑 chose this weekend to come to Singapore. It's election day in Malaysia and a public holiday as well. I thought that they didn't intend to vote. But Chee Beng told me that he went to the polling station in the morning only to find a long queue. Interest in the elections for this round is sky high. I find myself following most of the reports on it.
A visit from Bukit Mertajam
表姑 dropped by with her Ah Wei (her daughter), Chee Beng (her son-in-law) & Jia yi (her granddaughter). It was a last minute trip. But nevertheless a good trip. The last time she came to Singapore was more then 20 years ago. She has a smart granddaughter. She only calls you when you have good food to offer her. She's also a hyperactive kid. Played around with Granny's bell and my soccer bean bag. Dropped them off @ Jurong Bird Park in the afternoon.

Car Rental
Lekcarrentals doesn't too keen on my business. Decided to book a Toyota Vios from the Avis website. Incidentally, they have a branch @ Udon Thani Airport too. Tried beefing up my Thai in case I need to call up and confirm with them.
Had a talk w 满姑
Had a good chance to talk to 满姑 after dinner. She was telling me how hard it is to make a living in Singapore. She's paid a meagre $16 to slog whole day tailoring. I think she'll have a better life if she worked in Penang. There are too much cheap labour available in Sg already.
Forgotten phone
Mummy forgot to bring phone out tonight again. Somebody called and said there's an urgent SMS. It's about the someone not having lessons on Monday. I don't even know where Mummy went. So I can only leave it where it is and watch the glow slowly fade into screensaver mode.
A phone call
Received a phone call during dinner. She said she's 表姑 and spoke to me in Hakka. It was hard to get a hold on the conversation coz the signal was breaking up. I managed to pick up 'coming to Singapore' & 'SQ191'. At first I thought it was one of the KL Aunties. But the number '191' can only mean one thing. Daddy's cousin from Bukit Mertajam.
Mei's A Level Results
She got AAABC. It's much better than me. Ling said that Mei'll do much better coz I'm much more lazier than my sister. Anyway, it's quite a good result until Mei told me that Sam got 5 As. 6 if Chinese is counted. Are the A Levels getting easier?
Driving my Kelisa
Woke up @ 6 am to drive my Kelisa. Ling followed me as well. It's a good feeling to be driving my Kelisa again. 七舅's Altis drinks petrol the way Andy's Dad drinks Martell. Mummy also went off early to fetch Siyue to West Coast Park.

Rainforest
Went down to AA to watch the badminton gang play. Ended up using Zijie's shoes, 五舅's socks (new of course) & David's racquet to play a couple of games. Went down to Rainforest w Yeo after badminton for food and drinks. To celebrate my new Taxi License. Yeo found the waitress familiar. Her family used to run a 煮炒 stall @ Bukit Batok and he used to go there almost everyday w his family. The food @ Rainforest was good and cheap. The drinks are cheap too. This places makes it to my list of 'Places that I'll go again'.
Instant Messaging @ Work
Lijuan helped to reset my iNotes password. It got locked out again. Apparently, it is now linked to my Instant Messaging password and I DON'T use Instant Messaging in office just to chat w colleagues. I find it quite a waste of electricity and bandwith. People in the same building need IM to talk to each other?
TVL
I finally passed my Taxi Vocational License test this morning. I'm now a qualified taxi driver. But still have to wait 2 weeks for LTA to mail the letter to me. Finished the problem section in 8 minutes. I began to look @ the various Taxi Companies on their packages. But I'll put the Champagne on ice first until after Bus Test tonight. But still ended up buying beer to drink during lunch w Jamie & Stephen.

An invitation
Asked Edwin to see if he wants to join me @ Nong Doen in Apr. After all, it's better to have company, especially when navigating through rural Thailand @ night & alone.
Ang Moh Rules
Met Edwin for drinks @ Sixth Avenue coffeeshop. It's the coffee shop that's furthest from Bukit Timah Road. Wasn't too happy w the food service there. Nobody asked if I needed to order food. I had to ask someone to come and take orders for food. But when a group of Ang Mohs converged on a table next to me, I saw 2 persons go up and ask them if they wanted food. One of them even had a menu. To rub it in, their food arrived first. I had to remind them again before the food came. Bah! Decided to buy Carrot Cake for Ling & I.
Damn
Lost my staff pass. Damn. Dropped it @ Liang Court. Damn. I think some fucker took it. Damn. Paid $25 for a replacement pass. Damn!!!
A good arrangement
七舅 and 七妗 went travelling, so I could use his car for these few days. I need to pay $20 for to use my Kelisa tomorrow after all.

Final changes to ezhouse
Junbin & Jack came over @ night to tweak some changes into Ezhouse.com.sg. They were very happy w the website. We then went out for food and drinks @ the Old Holland Road coffee shop.
Bought my tickets
I've taken the decision to buy my Udon Thani & Istanbul tickets. No point delibrating further. I even booked the pick up @ Udon Thani and bought travel insurance for both trips. Suprisingly, Asia Euro Holidays was cheaper than those online travel websites. Even it's Istanbul ticket was cheaper than the Turkish Airlines website.

Snoring gets me goodies
Slept w 1 pillow. Ended up w 3 pillows. Apparently, my snoring last night triggered Alex & Yeo to throw pillows @ me. Which I gladly utilised.
