Woke up @ 9 am. Ate Fried Rice. Granny eyed Ling's 芋粿 and Ling gave her some. Left home @ 10 am w Granny, 满姑 & Ling. Fetched @ Auntie Ah Kum from Boon Lay. Went Marina Barrage. Went Tiong Bahru Market for lunch. Lots of stalls are closed. Long queues @ most of the remaining stalls that were opened. Auntie Ah Kum bought Wan Tan Noodles and 烧肉饭 for us. I bought Meat Ball Porridge. Went Tiong Bahru Plaza to drop Mummy's cheques @ Citibank. Went Bukit Timah Plaza and dropped one more cheque. Went Yarwood Mobil and posted letter. Everyone came back to the house. Bathed and watched 团圆饭. Went to Ling's parents' stall. Fetched them home. Played Mahjong. Ling's Mum cooked 大葱蛋, Luncheon Meat, 鲁鸭 & 鲁蛋. Continued playing mahjong after dinner. We took more 芋粿 back. Dropped Ling @ home. Went Wilson's house. Chatted w him & Ah Mun. They gave us more clothes for the baby. They are also thinking of getting me a baby carrier and pram. He gave me Greygoose Vodka as a birthday present. Reached home @ 2 am. Mei had locked the gate already. Phoned her and asked her to open for me.

Woke up @ 9 am. Watched 小娘惹's special epispde. Ate Fried Rice. Went 大舅妈's place for New Year Gathering w Mummy's cousins. Drank and offered vodka around. Jing Jing offered me sake as well. Dropped Mei @ Eugene's place. Went home. Slept on the bed w Ling. Auntie Ah Kum came w Siew Lian. Siew Lian left for home earlier. She was bored probably. Auntie Ah Kum stayed behind to have dinner w us. Granny was very happy that she was here. Peeled Pomelos for the family w 满姑 & Auntie Ah Kum even though I don't like to eat them. Fetched Auntie Ah Kum back home. Ate lots of goodies there. She also gave us lots of stuff. Went home. Junbin's car was there already. Facebook was down. So I could only Plurk and update my blog. Watched 'The Mad Monk'.

Woke up @ 8+. Greeted Mummy. Gave Taniah a red packet. Greeted 满姑. Greeted Granny. She knew at once that it's 年初一. Wished her 长命百岁. She said that she doesn't want to live that long. Ate 汤圆. Gave Mei a red packet. Drove to 五舅's place. 七舅 & 八舅's family were there already. Zijie was showing them the family tree. Also saw 五妗 for the first time in months. She cut all her hair coz of the Chemotherapy. But was happy to see her so jovial. She even said that Kai is not suitable as a name for the baby coz Grace & Gladys are using them already. Went to 三舅's place. Mei drove. She mounted a curb outside 三舅's house and nearly drove the car door into a knee-high wall. Even Lee Hsien Loong's guards were smiling. Mei asked what she should do. I replied that she's in no man's land. We went 四姨妈's place after that. More New Year goodies. Went home. Granny distributed red packets to us. Ate some food. Drove the Kelisa out to Ling's home. Went to Ling's 二伯's house. Went to Ling's 大伯's house. Everyone nagged @ Heng Kui for being jobless. Dropped Ling's family @ Ling's 姑姑's house. Went home. Bathed. Whole family went to Maplewoods function. We Lao-ed Yu Sheng there. Spoke quite a lot to Sixian. 六仗 kept usking us to take iindivisual family photos. But I wasn't too keen on the idea. Zijie & Ziteng ended up taking them individual. Went Ling's 姑姑's home for drinks and food. Spoke to Dwayne. Ling's 姑姑 spoke of Ling's family history. Left the place. Fetched Ling's family home @ 1+. Went home.

Woke up @ 6 am. Had to get the house key from Mei coz she brought it into her room. Drove the Kelisa to JB. Got slight jam. But it's manageable. Reached the petrol station @ Jalan Yahya Awal @ 6:45 am. Washed my car as well. Talked cock w a 53-yr-old Malay guy from Singapore who had his Camry washed. Went home. Reached home within 25 minutes. Ate Bee Hoon from last night for breakfast. 满姑 went for a walk. Mummy asked if Heng Kui will be interested in a clinic assistant job. Her friend's husband runs a clinic @ Farrer Court. Bathed. Rested in bed for a while. Watched pre-recorded 团圆饭 from Thursday. 满姑 cooked porridge for lunch. Cleaned the top of my wardrobe as well as my bookcase. Eugene came by and we chatted. Went out w Mummy, 满姑 & Ling to Bukit Timah Plaza & Toa Payoh. Went home. We started preparing for the dinner. Eugene didn't stay for dinner. 七姨 dropped by for a while. Had dinner. Good food. My T7 chose to quarrel w my memory stick @ this time. Opened a 900ml container of Sake. Brought the family down to River Hongbao & the Singapore Flyer. Went Ling's place to get 芋粿. Went home. Bathed. Prepared red packets w Ling. Slept.

Woke up @ 7:45 am. Woke Ling up. Mei wished me Happy Birthday. Mummy, 满姑, Ling, Mei & I went to Garden of Remembrance to visit Daddy. Mummy wished me 'Happy Birthday' in the car. Fetched Mei to Awfully Chocolate @ Brighton Crescent. Went Casuarina Curry for food. Didn't feel like eating much. Shared a Mutton Murtabak w Ling. Took lots of curry for them. Went home. Mummy collected letters for St Nicks Alumni Association and bought Tim Sum on the way home. Pan Yue visited w her parents. They are staying @ The Strand Hotel along Bencoolen Street. Bathed & slept. Took Junbin's car to JB. Massive jam along Causeway. There was even backflow of traffic from JB into Woodlands Checkpoint itself. But still, we managed to clear the Causeway in 30 minutes. Bought Zinger Burger for Ling. Went Jalan Yahya Awal to put petrol. Went back to Singapore. Left the car opposite my house for Kaixin. Drove the Kelisa out. Went Sheng Shiong and bought Maggi Assam. Went Ling's home. Brought some food and oranges for them. Went Holland Village. Parked @ Leedon Park. Ling treated me to dinnner @ Fosters - An English Rose Cafe. There was a guy playing guitar and entertaining us w oldies. I ate Teriyaki Cod fish and enjoyed the music. Went Ling's home and played mahjong. I won the most. Went home. Bathed and slept.

Woke up @ 9+ am. Ate the leftover Fried Rice from last night's dinner. Ling gave instructions to Taniah for lunch before we left home. Went Ling's home and picked her parents up. Ling drove. Brought them to Holland Avenue hawker centre for Kway Chap. Fetched them to their stall. Mei joined us for lunch. We had Fried Tau Kwa & another dish which had Long Beans, Tau Kwa, Cabbage & Chilli. Went out w Ling after lunch. Picked Ling's parents up from their stall. Went to OG @ Waterloo Street. Bought shirt and pants for Ling's Dad. Ling paid. It cost $100+. Fetched them home. Went out w the whole family except Taniah. Fetched Mei from SMU. Went Tanglin Club to swim. Ling didn't swim and sat w Granny. Bathed & had dinner @ Wheelhouse. Mei told me that she'll be going to Yan Fen's house to study. I don't buy that story. So I offered to fetch her there. Sure enough she said that Yan Fen & her Mum are shopping @ Ang Mo Kio and asked me to drop her @ Ang Mo Kio hub. I decided to drop her but still had nagging doubts in my mind. Drove the rest of the family to Chinatown, Marina Barrage & Waterloo Street. Went home. Chatted w 姑姑 on Skype. Glad to know that 姑仗, 姑姑 & 安安 would be here to visit the family during the first week of Apr. Called Mei on the phone. She said that she's on the bus but was stumped when I asked her what number was the bus. Told her to call me only when she feels like telling me the truth. She came back by 12+. Turned on air-con for the night.

Woke up @ 3:30 am. Junbin and Weiwei were here already. Fetched them to airport for their 2-week honeymoon in Japan. Went home. Slept until 9:30 am. Jackson called to say that he couldn't make it for today. My DECT phone is low on battery, so Ling couldn't call out. Ate porridge w Meat Sauce. 满姑, Ling & I went to take a look @ the baby cot. It's quite impossible to remove the cloth from the cot for washing. Lousy piece of junk. 姑姑 called and talked for a while. Told her to see the baby's face on my blog. 满姑 & Mummy scolded Taniah for using just any toothbrush to clean the walls of the bathroom. 满姑 cooked 肉丸粥 for lunch. Took out stuff for the picnic. Did spring cleaning of the shelf in the maid's room w Mummy. Spring cleaned the hi-fi and TV area in my room w Ling. Went Regent Grove to fetch Yeo & Lawrence. Big jam along PIE coz some stupid lorry's tyre got punctured. Raj came in his motorbike and fetched Alex from home. We bought 40 pieces of Nuggets and a couple of burgers on the way home. Left home in 2 cars towards Tanjong Beach in Sentosa. Stopped by Mobil along Queensway to buy Ice and playing cards. Reached Tanjong Beach and picked out our usual spot. Yeo & Lawrence brought Dessert Wine along and I brought 18 cans of Beer Chang. Drank and played Triple Blackjack & Indian Poker. Granny, Mummy, 满姑 & Taniah went back first. The rest of us left Sentosa later. Went Ling's home and took 莲藕汤 from Ling's place. Alex went to some bushes for toilet. Went home. Yeo & I went to the coffee shop near our house to 打包 food. We had dinner @ the car porch. Had drinks too but it's in lesser quantities. 满姑 joined us and did some amateur fortune telling for my friends. Yeo & Lawrence left first. Raj & Alex left @ 12 midnight. Mei & Yan Fen went to Attica. Bathed & slept by 1 am.

Woke up @ 8 am. Went downstairs coz I didn't want to sleep my morning off. Went Tiong Bahru w Ling. Bought Lor Mee for Ling and 水粿 for Mummy coz there'll be an Marriage Encounter (ME) meeting @ home tonight. Read from 'Today' that there was a fire @ StanChart building yesterday. Donated some money to some IJ girls with donation cans. Welnt Sago Lane and bought Egg Tarts. Also for the gathering @ home tonight. Went home. Downloaded episodes 12, 13 & 14 of 小娘惹 for Ling. Ate home cooked Carrot Cake for lunch. Mummy told me to keep the Xmas Tree w Taniah in the afternoon. Taniah kept it herself. Ling wore the Turkish 'Eye Cover' to sleep after lunch. Had some trouble connecting my T7 to T41 via USB. It only worked after I restarted my T41. Played w Google Maps and began putting plotting my friends' homes on a private map. Picked Laval up from Raffles Place. Bought Burger King for Ling. Went Tanjong Pagar and bought Chang Beer. Went Sentosa Cove for the Great Ocean Race. Crowd was mainly Ang Moh and it was lower than expected. Took a walk w Laval to the sea. Went back to Ling's home for dinner. Went home. Mummy was having ME @ home. Went Thai Disco w Laval. 2 Thai Girls sat w us. Had supper @ Eminent Plaza. Fetched Laval home. Went home. Slept @ 2:30 am.

Was so damn curious about gothere.sg's street maps that I tried to find out as much about it as possible. Saw a reflection of their own camera when they took a bus. They used many cameras that are mounted on a normal van. Also saw those F1 railings being kept and those dark markings on the road. Most likely the streetmaps have been taken during Oct 2008.

Asked Mummy where Mei is. Mummy said she's staying @ a friend's house and she'll be going Batam w her SMU friends today. Was unhappy that Mei didn't inform me again and simply assumed that Mummy will tell me everything. Ling watched Episode 3 and 4 of 小娘惹 on Youtube. Had lunch. Ling cooked the best salad I ever tasted. Only Eggs, Potatoes & Mayonaise. Moved the Kelisa into the car porch so that Taniah could wash it. Downloaded Episodes 8 to 10 of 小娘惹 from Youtube for Ling. Set the recorder to record 'National Security' on Channel 5 tonight. Went Punggol CC for the ComfortDelgro Taxi Roadshow. Enquired about the short term hiring scheme. There's a minimum 3-day renting period. We need to open a UOB account as well. Rental is $94.16 nett per day. Money will be deducted from our UOB account automatically. Also took a Taxi Vocational License Application Form for Yeo. Went Ling's home to pick Ling's Mum. Went Taman Universiti for dinner. Ling filled the white cards for the 3 of us. No jam @ the Causeway. Ling's Mum took some White Cards @ the JB CIQ building for us. Ate Kolo Mee and Curry Mee. We can come back for the Curry Mee again. Saw an SUV driven by an Auntie scratch a Wira. Went Jusco nearby for some shopping. We bought Milk Bottles, a rubber mat and baby detergent. Ling's Mum didn't buy any clothes coz they weren't suitable. Put petrol @ Jalan Yahya Awal. Saw some policemen setting up a road block along the Inner Ring Road heading towards Hyatt from the checkpoint. No jam @ the Causeway. Customs people shone a torchlight into our car. Dropped Ling's Mum. Returned books @ Queenstown library. Went home. Showed Mummy the baby stuff. She said she'll do the cooking during Ling's confinement period, but Ling will have to tell her what to cook coz she's not sure what to cook. Mummy told us to bring her along when we go JB again. Plenty of chance coz I'm practically going JB twice a week. Lowered the record for the Jakarta Course for the Racing Game on my E71 to 2:24+.
