Fitness First - 0830 hrs
The whole F1 circus have finally ended. There is basically only one place where overtaking took place. Along Raffles Avenue between Suntec and Marina. I saw only 3 guys overtaking in the entire race. Nico Rosberg over some unknown. Lewis Hamilton over David Coulthard. Fernando Alonso over Jarno Trulli. The whole Singapore F1 would have been a bore if not for Nelson Piquet's crash @ the bay grandstand, Felipe Massa's attempting to drive off with the petrol hose still intact, Reubens Barrichello's running out of fuel, Adrian Sutil's crash @ Bay Granstand and Kimi Raikonnen's @ Parliament House. Yes, the blunders and crashes decided the race.

Lunch w Andy & Jamie
Andy helped me scan in the 63B bill. Went Smith Street Hawker Centre for lunch w Andy & Jamie. My Ah Ling Fried Kway Teow wasn't open. Had $1.50 Bee Hoon. Went over to the Café section for beer. Jamie as usual didn't want beer. We chatted until like 1+ before going back to office.
No Maggi Mee
Wanted to eat Maggi Mee in the morning. But Ling asked Tania to fry Ham, Cheese & Egg. She's doing a good job in reducing my Maggi Mee consumption. Went office and started working on the PC Apps Migration Categories and Evaluation Criteria. Gotta meet Michael first thing in the morning for a discussion.

Another early night
Ling took bus down to meet me. We had trouble finding each other coz her phone had problems. But I managed to find her in the hawker centre having a bowl of Laksa. Had a Fried Kway Teow there. It's the stall that has the closest taste to Granny's Fried Kway Teow. Had another Nasi Lemak coz the serving was a little small. We took a walk to Merchant Loop for the car before we picked up Alex. Went Old Holland Coffee Shop for drinks. Dropped Alex @ home. At first he wanted to come to my house for more drinks and chess. But we all got lazy. So it's another early night for me.
Expensive Coffee Shop
Had lunch @ Mosque Street coffee shop w Choon Hong & David. The 菜饭 was $6+ for David and me. This will be my first and last time here. Even when I ordered Tiger Beer, the drinks for the 3 of us combined is only $5.10.
French Toast
Ling had French Toast for breakfast. I decided to go for simple and just stick to Bread + Margarine. She made me eat 1 French Toast. Mei followed us today, so we left earlier. I was alternating between feeling hot (air-con off) and feeling cold (air-con on), so was the air-con switch. Dropped Mei along Bencoolen Street. It was damn humid in the office. Wonder if it's because of the thick blue shirt I was wearing.

F1
Went home to watch F1. Actually wanted to pick Mei up, but she knocked off too late and the F1 race was too exciting. Kimi Raikonnen was leading Lewis Hamilton all the way until the rain started. Raikonnen slowed down with a few laps to go. Hamilton overtook him. Both spun out of the track once and managed to recover. Hamilton in the lead. Raikonnen spun one more time. Out of the race. Slept right after F1 as I want to have enough sleep.
An afternoon swim
Went Giant to get 4 cans of Tiger Beer. We had a discount coupon for beer so we decided to use them. Bought Chuppa Chups for Ling as well. Went Maplewoods to swim. Used the time to cut my nails and shave before going into the water. Did a good 10 laps. Had another good can of Tiger Beer. Watched a father teach his 2 daughters how to dive. Went to Ling's home and had Bee Tai Mak for dinner. Heng Kui bought his own 菜饭 and we shared a Fried Oyster together w Ling's Parents. Watched Transformers cartoon on Cartoon Network.
Ling drove
Went Bukit Timah Market in the morning. This time Ling drove. The car park was too full. So I took over the wheel and parked along Bukit Timah Avenue. Ling had Wan Tan Noodles while I ate Fried Kway Teow. When we were going back, I had to move the car out of the lot coz it's a slope and Ling didn't have the confidence to move the car out of a parallel parked lot on a slope.

Bak Chor Mee
By the time we woke up, it was already 5+. Used a ladder and book all the books into the family room cupboard. They all fit in nicely. Had 2 cans of Beer Chang before leaving home. Went Tea Garden to get a McChicken Meal for Ling coz she was beginning to feel hungry. Ling drove to Tea Garden. There was this Stupid Mercedes Taxi who cut into her lane. Luckily Ling reacted fast enough. Ling nearly went to the wrong toilet. We were supposed to meet Phoebe @ Tea Garden today, but Phoebe had some last-minute stuff on. Went Tanglin Halt to pick Ling's Parents & Heng Kui up. Dropped Ling's Dad @ Golden Mile before we went Bedok for Bak Chor Mee. There was heavy rain. I thought that the heavy rain would deter people from going there. But I was wrong, it was still damn crowded. Ordered a Fried Oyster while waiting for our noodles. The Tanglin Halt Fried Oyster is still better. Somehow, I don't really like the Bedok Bak Chor Mee now. It leaves you with an after-taste that makes you nauseous and I'm NOT pregnant. Dropped Ling's Mum & Heng Kui @ home.

Healthy night
Went w Yeo to Desker Road for Tim Sum. It was good that they didn't have beer. So this was one of the healthiest nights w Yeo. He kept asking Ling to eat and we ordered a lot of food. We still managed to finish everything. Went Great Eastern to clock out. We then went Cue Room to play pool. But there was only 1 snooker table left. So we played snooker. Snooker has a difficulty rating that this much higher than Pool's. You really feel happy when a ball is potted. Aiming must all be spot on, if not the balls will just flirt w the pockets. Yeo won 2 games while I won 1. But we took such a long time to finish a game that we played only 3 games. Yeo was damn lucky in the last game coz I kena snooked for 3 turns in a row. Fetched Yeo home before going home.

Went 11A for the Pandemic Flu Exercise briefing. Will be going to GE Changi tomorrow to simulate a Pandemic Flu outbreak. This is an industry wide exercise.
Mushroom Soup
Had Mushroom Soup for breakfast this morning. Ling called Tania to cook Mushroom Soup for me last night. Mei said last night that she'll follow me if she can wake up on time. She didn't, so I left home alone. Forgot to take out Mummy's 2 cheques for dropping w me.

Supper w Wilson & Laval
Went back home and started drinking w Laval. I was right. The 6 cans of Phoenix Beer for Mauritius weren't enough. I took 3 cans, Laval took 2 & Mummy took 1. We then proceeded to take another can of Beer Chang each. Mei said she was hungry, so I asked her along for supper when Wilson came by with his rented red Toyota Altis. We went Adam Road for supper. Was pretty hungry by then coz I didn't take dinner @ all. Ordered a Nasi Goreng. Ling had a Carrot Cake. Mei went for Hokkien Mee and Laval had Bee Hoon Goreng. The 3 of us haven't met up like this for a damn long time. Wilson is still his usual self, trying to introduce girls to Laval and offering to help him 'filter'. Ling commented that the Carrot Cake hawker speaks very good English. It's quite seldom, that somebody will fetch me out for supper. So I shared another bottle of Barons Blue w Laval. Wilson dropped us home first before fetching Laval home. Jack messaged he is done w testing and asked me to clear the bugs. Will check it out tomorrow.
The quest for the Ham Chin Paeng
Went 63B to fetch Laval. He brought 2 shirts for Ling & I. He also bought 6 cans of Mauritian beer for me. We went Redhill Market to look for Ham Chin Paeng. But the stalls were all closed. Bought another 6 cans of Beer Chang for $10.90. It's considered very cheap for Singapore standards. We went Tanglin Halt Market to look for Ham Chin Paeng and 油条. But it was a fruitless trip. There was a 歌台 going on. So we stayed for a few seconds to look. Some Auntie is singing in Hokkien. The last resort was Holland Village. Of course there isn't any such food there. Bought Garlic Bread from Bread Talk in the end.
Going home
Bought Curry Puff @ Niven Road on the way home. Wanted to buy Ham Chin Paeng for Ling but Niven Road doesn't have it. Traffic was very heavy along Bukit Timah Road. Somehow, I managed to reach home @ 7:30 am, which is the usual time. Found Ling to be asleep when I got home. She slept for a while coz we'll be meeting Wilson & Laval tonight.
Lunch w Vicki
Had lunch w Vicki today. We went 国府 again. This time, we had Beef w Mushroom, Fried Mushrooms and of course, 麻婆豆腐. Over-ordered. But the food was nice and cheap. I'm getting coffee-shop prices for my beer too. Jeevitha could have come but she wasn't feeling well.

Paid the SP and Singtel bill for Ling's parents before leaving home today. Ling told Tania last to prepare luncheon meat for me. She doesn't really fancy me eating Maggi Mee that often. Mei followed me today coz she got early lesson @ SMU. Talked about some of her case studies on the way there.

Last episode
Dinner was 妈婆豆腐 today. Brought Ling to the Bengawan Solo outlet @ King Albert Park so that she could buy some food. We also bought Large Fries as a reward for my hard day's work. Went home and watched the last episode of the Fann Wong show. Happy ending but god knows what happened to the bad guy. Slept halfway while watching the 'Animal Planet' programme that counted down the most extreme of creatures.
